CASH2 the blazing Blake2B coin has started it's parabolic bull run of 2021, as its now smashed through the 200 moving average (MA)! Congrats to this small cap coin with a LOW SUPPLY (15M coins). One of the best Blake2 algorithm coins along with Siacoin (SC).

Why did all mining pools stop working? All shares rejected. It's been a week.

their website is still up and still trading at 15sats. maybe this coin is about to go to its grave. better sell whatever you have. at least get rid of it while it has still value in exchanges. the dev has not been here for quite a while as well.
this is a perfect example of an alt where they openly shows that they outperform bitcoin via showing a comparative table of this alt vs btc, and yet they are about to exit the game.

Hello everyone, anyone who is interested in Cash2 mining is welcome to drop by my new pool with only 0.1% mining fees. -> http://cash2.ddns.net/

It is possible with miners who can mine the Blake2b algorithm. Like the Antminer A3, Innosilicon S11 or the StrongU STU-U2.

Can regular obelisk units also mine this old blake2b algo? (even thou they also can do the new blake2b-sia algo?) curious?

Any confirmation from someone that you can mine Cash2 with a STU-U2?

Any screenshots on performance mining this coin with U2?

Yesterday, we had one person on our Discord channel confirm that his StrongU STU-U2 was working on https://pool1.cash2.org

dev exchange for coins Huh Huh Huh

I believe it's going on Bisq soon. Not your typical exchange but a first step. Mining as much as I can before it goes on more exchanges.

Congratulations on launching a zero-premine coin on an algo that really needs one.  It's a tragedy that these ASICs suddenly become eco-waste, and at the same time, I think devs have a responsibility to consider the environment when launching a new coin.

Ironically, one of the most eco-friendliest choices is to revive an otherwise useless ASIC (these things are legit hazardous waste), so giving them more life is a good thing.  Plus Blake 2b is efficient.

Thank you for the kind words.

Yes, Cash2 does not have a premine. The Cash2 genesis block contains a message "Bitcoin block 552632 hash 00000000000000000006a4f3a1ffbf0872ab0bd0ac69453f596bb18de750d9b1" written in hexidecimal. This Bitcoin block was mined about 3 hours before Cash2 launched on December 5, 2018 at 9:00 am EST, and it took us all 3 hours to get everything set up for launch.

Blake2b is great because it is a very fast algorithm, and it allows us to have 9 second block times. We started using Blake2b back in July of 2018, and we did not know that the Antminer A3 would later be abandoned. After we found out, we felt a responsibility to help miners who purchased the Antminer A3 to regain their initial investments.

We also encourage the preservation of our environment. Any help we can provide to make the world cleaner and safer we will gladly do. Cash2 is about improving the lives of the generations that come after us as well. Thank you again papacabeza.

So if we mine in the test pool today or before December 5th, once the mainnet is launched are my rewards mined before December 5 obsolete?

Hi. Yes, any rewards you get now will be invalid once Cash2 launches. Rewards are only valid if they are received after December 5, 2018 9:00 am EST. I often reset the test blockchain after making changes to the code base in order to test the new code.  Also, Cash2 has no premine.

Could it be that:
Has no premine and yet you have been mining initial block rewards by yourself or with a few
Now you have enough so you've decided to post on bitcointalk and open it up to everyone else.

Hi, Cash2 does not have a premine. The genesis block of Cash2 will contain a message similar to Bitcoin's genesis block.  The message will include the height and hash of a bitcoin block that will be mined on December 5, 2018. For instance, it will say something like "Bitcoin 550927 0000000000000000001647f96c634d9230f97c92779e5a502cabe07acd65b8c1". Bitcoin block 550927 was mined on Nov 21, 2018 1:43:41 AM EST. Cash2's genesis block message will include a block mined on December, 5, 2018 instead. This will show that the Cash2 genesis block was not created before the launch date, and therefore no premine has taken place.

Cash2 is a new cryptocurrency with all the useful properties of cash but with added beneficial features.

Launch date : December 5, 2018 9:00 am EST

Key highlights of Cash2
  • 9 second block time
  • low transaction fees
  • No premine*
  • BLAKE2b hashing algorithm
  • 15,000,000 maximum supply
  • CryptoNote based

* I will mine the first 10 blocks to make sure everything works prior to launch. However, the total reward for the first 10 blocks is less than 9 cash2s or 0.00006% of the total supply.
