Our Crowd Sale is currently on hold
Our campaign manger has been fired and the following are the reasons for the termination,
1. With crowd sale 2 days away the Bounty Thread is not complete and there is no sign of manager doing quality work over last 2 days, the following is pending
- Signature and Avatar campaign is not started as yet and there is no plan as to when he will go about it
- The translation bounty has no proper instructions and several people have taken up translations but there is no "management" to move this forward
- In every form for bounty, there is still no waves address collection field to receive TRENDS after me asking for this 3 times and a member commenting about it in the bounty thread also
2. We provided feedback to the manager
- He should not be rude to the people in the thread as Trending.me is a fun, happy project, he was rude to a FIL translator
- He should be more engaging and reply to peoples queries about bounty, The job he signed up for, so far he has replied to only 1 person and that too has been rude to the FIL translator, this attitude would not inspire more people to join the bounty
3. Campaign manager just recently lost money as two other ICOs did not work out for him and he did not get paid, that negative energy and momentum is brought into our project and before doing proper work he has expected crowd sale to take off on this forum during presale itself

We can deal with incompetence and make people better at getting things done, but a bad attitude is something that needs correction elsewhere.
4. Manager had agreed to accept payment in TRENDS and we would pay him BTC as soon as we start raising funds. On the day of making the post, manager used his Legendary status(Valuable for posting of ANN and Bounty threads as my account does not support images and links) and tried to hold us hostage and asked us for BTC instead of the initially agreed upon TRENDS.
When he could not get it from us he hushed up the matter like he was "kidding". He also used the fact that he is paid currently in TRENDS and not BTC as an indirect reason for being lax and not really putting effort into this project.
5. After asking manager to do the work mentioned in point 1. and giving him feedback in point 2. he has stopped replying to my messages and considers me rude and a spammer for telling him what we require to make this project work and guiding him on how we could do a better job. Manager is not open for constructive criticism and cannot handle the stresses of these projects. The original presentation of bounty was also not up to the mark.

In Summary, We tried to work with it but cannot anymore as our project will be dead if we continue with this manager. Regardless of the legendary status I see no solution in working together.
For those who need to know our deal with him, We could not afford to pay BTC right now to the manager, but manager was interested in the project, infact he contacted us at the start of August via PM, we were approach by other managers also, but hashforce101 decide to work with us in a pay structure where we pay him in TRENDS before the crowdsale and with the initial amount we raise in crowdsale we would pay him that amount in BTC, almost like a buyback of the TRENDS. A Gentleman's agreement was struct between us.
Due to result of the other two ICOs he's manged, hes brought on failure perception to our project. Now our legendary manager expects the crowdsale to kickoff with massive funding withing the first few hours of posting the threads, without putting any value upfront in the form of managing a proper bounty thread or getting translations DONE or guiding twitter and Facebook campaigns he expects things to roll smoothly. This is not how it works, anyone in Marketing knows that.
He's not replying to my messages so I assume he has given up on this project just as much as we have given up on him.
I know this revelation might look unprofessional on our part but with being held hostage by our legendary manager we had no other choice, I apologize to anyone who supported us and is disappointed by us closing the crowdsale before it even begins. As you can see above we cannot go ahead with the attitude and work ethic of the current manager. If we do so our project will die before it even begins, it's better to admit our mistake, regroup and take on a different strategy in the coming weeks. We made a mistake with our hiring and we will learn from this one.
Also TRENDS as an asset on the Waves Platform is compromised as manager has half a million TRENDS in his wallet, what we paid him for his services for 3 weeks. After posting this I do not think he will give us the TRENDS back, we do not worry as my dev lead says we can move to ethereum as we will achieve our goals faster rather than with Waves.

It has literally been 2 days, where I was unable to do work for this campaign, for personal reasons. I told William from trending.me that I would do the work as soon as I had the time, but he continuously spammed me, as though I have nothing else to do in life. This unprofessional behaviour left me without motivation to continue this campaign and to be honest, I am quite glad our relationship is now over. The spreadsheet will soon be updated with everyone who has done work, as I am not one to leave people hanging. Except for trending.me. Hopefully they pay you guys out.
