Why did they change?
They need to be "re-grouped" by the system so that everything can be denominated and ANON'd fully and correctly

No silly billies ... .all of y'as...
When you do denomination rounds... the coins are sent to the blockchain.... then they return denominated thanks to the Masternodes... but you need 6 confirmations until they're "yours"!! so it shows up as"unconfirmed" ....and probably matching your target anon limit... until confirmed...
As soon as it returns as confirmed, it gets immediately sent off to the next round ! So it adds to total balance correctly, but zero anonymised balance, because its being mixes again! And minus that tx fee of course...
And it will do that same thing X number of rounds you set it !
Only in the end it will stay there put in "anonymised balance" ... as long as you understand coin control and how to manage already denominated funds you'll not loose fees to crumble change address denomination... Otherwise you break vin's and denom starts again, charging you fee's again. No one wants that. So learn! Use coin control to select denominated inputs that add up nicely to your tx, and you're good to go. Otherwise you will break denomination rounds and make coins totally non-anonymised, so the QT has to send them off again and will charge you the respective fee (because its set up that way in the preferences!!- Nº rounds and total to anonymise!!).
v.31 works like a charm. But its for pro's. We're just a few short miles ahead mainstream.
