So much QQ from people who can't even code a simple calculator program.. If you don't understand the #codelife stick to buying and selling junk bonds/stocks. I think you'll find that you fit right in.

Wish I had kept my coins in an exchange during this mess.

Stuck with them in a wallet that won't sync.... waiting for the newest compiled version....

that would make me feel bad for gobbling up their drks.    Grin
I feel good for helping to fix the gene pool.

People who aren't smart enough to type "tail -f ~/.darkcoin/debug.log" and watch it deserve to Darwin themselves out of their own money.

It's a good thing! Don't feel sorry for being at the top of the food chain. It's not your fault others choose to be stupid and weak.

2 Failed forks, It will be interesting to see what happens from here, how forgiving can the community be? personally I wasn't willing to take the risk, I got out near the top of the pump. I wouldn't be surprised if the hype machine can pump it up again, especially with a fresh set of bag holders on board  Grin

You people need to understand "rights of passage".

This is exactly what makes a winner - problems and overcoming them. Sorry but it's a non-sanitised zone.

Darkcoin team need to keep going and see this as progress. I know it doesn't look like it right now, but believe me it is, that's why I call it "rights of passage" stuff.

Everyone else is going to have it, and if they haven't they're just a disaster waiting to happen.

The market wants products where the disasters have ALREADY happened and DRK is going through that phase now.

Everyone keep their hair on - especially Evan which he does seem to be doing.

Good news: Much cheaper to buy a masternode.

Bad news: It's not paying itself off anytime soon.

Just to confirm - As there is this fork, if I buy coins on mintpal, I won't lose it as I don't move the coins in the presence of a fork right ?

Buy them, just don't move them yet until the situation is cleared out.

Even if you did, it'd just take longer to straighten out the TX. But your presumption is correct. IT's still better to not move them that way you don't panic and post fud in the wrong state of mind... ;-)

Yes, I agree it looked FAR better than the random forks last time - achieving network consensus on its own, but I have no idea if it would remain that way or if it could divert & reconverge. As an outsider if it seems to be working, I align with "if it ain't broken don't fix it". If Evan saw something that needs fixing "under the hood", then he knows better than me (and others saying "keep it"). I believe he wouldn't revert it for the lulz. He probably saw something.
It didn't just look far better, it gave use useful feedback and proved it was self-fixing...

Yes, I'm seeing it spontaneously do this over and over. That's my point... Log Files! Nail it instead of throw it away...

I think the issue that caused the divergence should be logged alright. But debugging it without a hard fork would be impossible if it's a code issue.
