@Racey, I never said I would put anything into it... I was merely explaining how it *would* be afforded. And your statement is 100% false. I have to take a gamble that i make it all the way to a payout with coinhive. Currently min of .5 XMR without a withdrawal fee. So I have to provide 100 dollars of capital right now, to make payouts, and assume that when all is said and done, and I make payout, that XMR has maintained its price.
So I have all the variables that can go against me, and eliminate any profit. So no. Anybody who thinks that starting a faucet like this is "risk free" for the owner is fooling themselves. And that's without accounting for hosting.
My point, in providing this faucet, is to provide a transparent, easy, and consistent option for people looking to earn crypto. I'm tired of popups, shortlinks, 10+ ads, and all the garbage that goes along with current faucets. This is my answer. Lower payouts, but a simpler model.
