This not strictly related to the pool but can I use a bitcoin core blockchain directory to sync BTG rather than sync from scratch?

Written for pascal gpus but works on cards with at least 1Gb memory, and Compute Capability 3 and higher.
Edit the start.bat file and add the following.
miner --server us.gpugold.com --user bitcoin-gold-address.worker --pass x --port 3859
If you're having issues, please read the help.txt file included in the download.

Claymore's Bitcoin GOLD AMD GPU Miner. This is a specially compiled version for mining Bitcoin Gold.
Edit the start.bat file and add the following.
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool us.gpugold.com:3859 -zwal bitcoin-gold-address.worker -zpsw x -allpools
SSL Encryption use:
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://us.gpugold.com:3801 -zwal bitcoin-gold-address.worker -zpsw x -allpools
Stratum + TCP use:
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool stratum+tcp://us.gpugold.com:3851 -zwal bitcoin-gold-address.worker -zpsw x -allpools
Note this miner has many options please consult the Readme!!!.txt file.

Username A valid Bitcoin Gold address. Starts with G
