The idea of this project is worth of trying but team should put much effort as such an idea means a big amount of work. Looking to road map you can see that Afriwallet application should be released soon. Would be interesting to see it

With the release of this application, there will be people who participate here very soon. There will be new developments if the application can be used.

Nobody told that this project is scam. But there is a big rivalry on crypto market. A lot of really good new projects, intresting for investors, have started. And if Afripay team want to be one of these projects, they should be more transparent. Defienetly, if they show people working product, it will arouse interest in investors.

If the project does not provide clear and transparent information with everyone participating, There will be big questions about this all. But you say that this project is a scam, is it really true? Do you have any information or data about what happened to this project? Thank's

Guys, I really don't like quallity of your website. I'm talking about design, lack of information about team etc. Sorry, but most of all I don't like pictures used by you on website. I'm graffic designer, so I see that these pictures have bee taken from photobank. You just put there your logo (by the way, you did it very unprofessional), and used these pictures without preserving proportions. You can't do this way if you are serious project.
I don't understand what they mean but they seem to run counter to their own slogan "Trusted and Transparent Currency Alternative" whereas they themselves are not transparent, showing only a little information from their team, also using anonymous picture, what a shame.
In the sale phase, they claim to have been successful in the "Private Investment Funding Round". There weren't that many funds, but they had at least $ 22,500 at the time of the sale.

Anyway, the project seems not gaining interest from the community. Their mission is great but how they work on here is somewhat shady. They are not answering anything here. No clarification about their team members or anything of that sort. I don't think this will go far. Very likely that they are just using the African community to attract potential buyers or investors. I hope people are smarter these days. Don't be attracted by seemingly noble cause because they are not.

Do you think in doing this way people will be more interested in what you present? I think just one is enough, but your team very is so active in responding to it.

Hi, upon checking the team member's page, I noticed that the team members are covered with anonymous photos without any of their referrals and links. I highly suggest that you provide all the necessary details in order to verify the identities of the team members, thanks!

lol ... what are they showing anonymously for. It's a waste of time to display it as well as not displaying it at all. I think this is another of the shit project i have seen ever

No way. They can't targeted a specific country or area for a payment gateway product with anonymous team members. Also tbh, the website doesn't looks professional. All things is looks amateur especially when I look at afri hardware wallet page.
Op please provide whitepaper on your site.
yes, they seem to be playing around. no innovation is really a breakthrough. There are also many odd things on their website, of course this will be a negative point for investors or potential investors who come.

They already did it, take a look at the bottom of the web page, unfortunately the link that they provide isn't written as whitepaper, but it just a litepaper https://afripay.io/litepaper.pdf

As I see in the roadmap, It seems that until Q1 2021 they have done well (very simple roadmap), but in Q2 it looks like they will do a lot of things, I wonder if they will be able to finish in time.

Pretty good result for Afripay which raised $30,000 through a private funding round so far. I think results could be even better in near future Smiley

With this type of project, aiming to be the Africa's Crypto payment solution, I believe they should disclose their team members. How can merchants or shops trust their services if they are anonymous? They want to serve the African community, so they should not be ashamed to show their identities. Otherwise, this is just another attempt to use the name of the African community to gain interest from their users.

What Is Afripay

Afripay is a fully Decentralized payment protocol built using Binance Smart Contracts designed to help rising Entrepreneurs and business owners in Africa and beyond scale and grow their businesses and allows accepting transactions of cryptocurrencies as payment from customers in exchange for goods or services. Our payment systems can accept payments from any country in Africa in a 100 percent secure environment.

When a customer purchases an item from a merchant cryptocurrency as payment, the transaction goes through our payment gateway at a fixed rate and automatically converts to traditionally recognized fiat currency or the wrapped version of the aforementioned currencies so the merchant can avoid the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets.

Afripay Mission
Problem:
In most African business sectors, there are notable setbacks that hinder Business Owners and Entrepreneurs from developing and scaling their businesses as poor Government economic choices, high-income tax rates, hefty transaction fees, customs, and trade regulations amongst others have been known to suffocate small businesses restricting their contribution to the economic growth of Africa.
Solution:
Presenting Afripay, a decentralized payment protocol built for business owners and entrepreneurs. We are not a bank and we are here to bridge the gap by creating an option that would eliminate the failures of other traditional payment gateways. With us, business owners and entrepreneurs can easily send, receive, save and invest to make a profit without the hurdles of the current centralized payment system.
How do we achieve this?

Today, there are too many parties involved in every financial transaction, which not only includes banks, credit cards processors, government taxes, and so on charging outrageous fees at every step. With APAY, you can send or receive any amount without any hidden charges.

This is made possible by blockchain technology as our platform utility token APAY is built on the binance smartchain, known for its insanely fast transaction speed and low rates. Transactions are led on the binance blockchain through our smart contracts which are secure and 100% transparent, with low transaction charges.

Our payment gateway will be user-friendly and can be set up in just a few clicks. We are currently in the development phase of building a unique wallet where all your currencies will be stored. And users can resolve to utilize our native cryptocurrency APAY coin in disbursing or accepting payments, likewise, they can take advantage of our Afri hardware wallet to secure their digital currencies.

What Is AfriWallet

Afriwallet is our Native, Secure Online Wallet App, where you can store your APAY coins and other supported cryptocurrencies. AfriWallet Comes in two variations as below:

1. AfriWallet app where you can store your cryptocurrencies on your mobile device.

2. Afri Hardware Wallet, our special type of cryptocurrency wallet which stores the users private keys in our secure hardware device, it has major advantages over regular software wallets because private keys are stored in the protected micro-controller and cannot be transferred out of the device

What Is APAY Token Or APAY Coin?

APAY ($APAY) is the utility token that Powers the Afripay decentralized payment solution. APAY can be used to initiate and receive payments between Merchants and customers in Africa, allowing them to transact securely with low transaction fees.

Our Token smart contract runs on the Binance Blockchain, acting as a digital agreement that is enforced by a specific set of rules. Users of Afripay & APAY coin would enjoy discount rates when making payments for goods and services through the Afripay Platform.
