We are currently prioritizing on giving a chance for everyone to list sections of the moon.
We aren't exactly 'selling' the moon, we are focusing on providing a service, legally registering sections of the moon via blockchain.
The space industry is working towards mining valuable resources deposited within the lunar crust
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/billionaire-closer-mining-moon-trillions-131327560.htmlAnd since mankind's development and race towards the moon is visualized,
Members of the UN, have stated that the space law needs to be revised and updated
http://www.unoosa.org/oosa/en/ourwork/spacelaw/first-united-nations-conference-on-space-law-and-policy.htmlThe current law regarding the moon is mostly based on the Moon Agreement adopted in 1979
http://www.unoosa.org/oosa/en/ourwork/spacelaw/treaties/intromoon-agreement.htmlWhich states that the moon and celestial bodies' environment should not be disrupted,
and that the natural resources if found should be considered a common heritage of mankind.
This needs to be revised, because mining corporations wouldn't find it lucrative to give back to mankind the resources that they had mined with great effort
It would be easier if miners or lunar-architects, were to pay a fee to a single owner or organization.
but since the space law adopted in 1963 [The Declaration of Legal Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Uses of Outer Space (1963)]
states that no 'organization' or 'nation' should own any celestial body.
There has been cases where certain 'individuals' went to their own government to register planets and their satellites as their own
And some has succeed in doing so, since their legal system had no law to prove against them.
But this does not state that those individuals could be recognized as the rightful legal owners of the moon
since their government has no legislation to grant registry rights. So even if they were granted registration of the moon, it would not be recognized since their nation can't own it or have power over registering it.
If the moon and other celestial bodies could be registered, it's right to be registered should be granted by the UN
Our plan is this, we are aiming to get a vast amount of multi-national individuals to sign a petition to submit to the UN (investors)
We are going to organize space events to get support in a global scale.
(you might guess this right, our power of success will be based on the number of individuals. But also capitalists could help by moving the press)
And lastly we are going to provide the service, registering segments of the moon and making it secure and visible via blockchain
