Yes, the core application is not yet released. We have an alpha version (prototype) working a local test network and will deploy to Rinkby.
We want to be absolutely certain there is no way to burn SLXN from an account that doesn't require the trust of the sidechain.

Our final decision before public access to the application (exchange) is in finding the right trust level requirement for our first game. We would like to not draw a line between choice accounts and good accounts but the gradient is fine.

Source code is available if you are interested in running the application on a local test network though.

SLXN is designed to give competitive players a platform
to wager with community trusted oppenents.

Wagering on games has long evolved.

Gamers have relied on centralized organizations for the decade to handle both the holding of funds in escrow, managing disputes, and the dispursal of funds to the winner.
We believe, with the evolution of decentalized networks, competitive gaming networks should also break through these barriers.

These organizations gamers have relied so heavily on for the past decade to keep malicious users out and trusted users in availablitiy have lost touch with both gamers, and the games they play. We are building a platform for gamers to wager, dispute thier opponents, resolve disputes with the help of approved voters, and become approved voters themselves.
SLXN can be thought of as waiver of trust between gamers. Decentralized applications like our pilot project SLXN | Saloon, will use these non-divisible tokens to reward voters. We also aim to release a fully documented API for other developers to incorporate their games into the Saloon.
