It is not fair that 85 % have to wait to 15%...

I completely agree with you.

That's wrong. 44% are waiting for 56% to validate their passphrases. The number of generated passphrases doesn't mean anything. The number of validation does.

We get MANY (like A LOT!) of support requests every day to reset the passphrases. I already prepared the email list with over 2700 unique email addresses which didn't validate their passphrases, we will send out the first email today.

are you serious?  You were saying EARLY ON that Generated passphrases are important and VALIDATION WAS NOT!

Over the last couple of days it became more and more clear that people were just generating passphrases and didn't save them.

Tag me in when/if you need help.

You have my contact info.

Holding my bag but extremely unprofessional for the kids to make a move like this.
You need to plan ahead and be able to foresee things that will happen.
Young business people make this mistake way too often.
And its only experience that makes them learn.
Unfortunate in this situation that all of us investors are on that learning ride with the dev team as well.

Never mind, you, the matured, experienced and wise man gave money to the university student and a German lawyer-wanker, the LISK scammers. It is "unfortunate", isn't you idiot?

on the lawyer. he did fail to reply to my ICO due diligence email, which i consider to have been unprofessional.

What do you expect from a wanker who gave his name to such blatant scam?

Send me your personal details, once I have more time (end of the week) I will forward it to the German law enforcement to press a charge against these fraudsters.

The main problem is not the delay itself but the reason of the delay.
The LISK team is 2 developers and 1 community manager, that's it! This is a joke or what! This extrtemely unprofessional considering the size of the project.
How many people are behind Ethereum, Bitshares, Dash, Monero, Factom, etc.?
Lisk Team raised so much money during the ICO!! Why not hire more people? I have no doubt great developers would be happy to give a hand even if they know that they'll be paid after Lisk has hit the exchange. So I'm afraid that the real reson is different. Maybe the 2 developers are greedy and believe they can do everything by themselves.
If only there was more people/devs involved actively with the Lisk team, those 15% lazy people would have received an email since a long time to generate and/or validate their passphrases.
(sorry for my poor english..)

+100000!!
With all those millions usd potentially rise they just need to pay 1k usd to one person and will be happy to send manually email reminder every day prior launch.

I'm starting to think there is something very weak behind this delay....
If dev are busy with code, just pay someone's to send reminder.

This is a delay because of the generated keys.

Lisk will keep their word of end of April, because if 93% of the users are waiting for 7% and they will again delay the launch to May, the community and the media will not trust the planning of Lisk anymore .
So just wait and test your node, let Lisk be known to the world, learn Javascript and design dapps. A lot to do before end of April so we can see Lisk grow and be all rich Wink

No,
Dev should just send email reminders once a day. Launch should be April 11 as planned.
Until there are no other issue he won't write....
It's simple. Just sent 3-4 email reminder.

One question good man, what's the hurry exactly for? What do you plan on doing with these holy Lisk tokens that you cannot wait for?
Just out of curiosity.

Lesson for people with brilliant cryptocurrency ideas looking for funding and starting a community -

Steps for an appropriate ICO -

1. Have all ICO participants answer a questionnaire about the whitepaper to test their understanding of what they invested in. Public key / private key cryptography is a must.
2. Have them pass a coding test or logic test or an anti-stupid test.
3. Then promise them 0 returns on their money and a high likelihood of loss of token value after launch. Sign a contract with this agreement.

Now after 3 steps above, the number of people who have donated money are your real community members who may actually contribute to the success of your idea. This is reality, chew on it.

I like the way you think.

Cheers,

Another delay without any exact date it sounds really funny but the most important why dev team making delay to launch this, i don't think if they keep waiting for people than we will have only announcements and delay again and again. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I was thinking that launch will be postponed that 's why I shared my opinion quite few days ago.The delay is not problem but the real problem is how many delays will take place ? In case these lazy investors don't activate their keys till end of April , should we wait for another delay ? There should be some hard date for a smooth launch.

Hey, this is my prefered version of democracy. Down with one person one vote, votes should be weighted based on depth of knowledge on the given issue/person.

Friend of mine bough Liks on begining of ICO and 2 weeks ago she  went to trip around the world and it will last 6 months but passphrases left at home. What in her case?

tell her to stop fucking us over.

Have her log in and get her damn keys, there's internet all over the world and I doubt she'll be in a dead zone for 6 months.

She is mine facebook friend, and she live on other continent, man think before u say something.

bro you think before you say something.  You obviously don't understand that living on another continent does not mean you cannot get your key.  Maybe you and your friend should grow a brain first.

The fact still remains that because your friend did not do anything with her keys, she is one of the reasons we are having this argument to begin with.

Tell her to put down the Mai Tai and do some fucking work

Christ some of you people are dumb as rocks.

IT IS THE REASON given for the delay that is the problem.

Quote
Up until today, we had estimated an official launch of the Lisk platform for April 11th, 2016. Unfortunately, there have been setbacks concerning the generation and validation of keys, associated with each ICO exchange. Consequently, we have decided to delay the official launch to the end of April, the worst case scenario being early May.

The delay is announced even before trying to resolve the missing parties by contacting them and informing them to urgently validate their keys so that they launch can commence on the 11th of April.

Posted after the above announcement:

Quote
We get MANY (like A LOT!) of support requests every day to reset the passphrases. I already prepared the email list with over 2700 unique email addresses which didn't validate their passphrases, we will send out the first email today.

WILL means: about or going to

Again, delay announced due to low validation of keys. Reminder to validate keys sent after announcement of delay.

Question then still remains: of all or most of the missing validations come in before the 11th of April, will the launch still continue.

If not why not.

You simpletons cannot grasp any of that, good luck in your pathetic lives and keep waiting for the next one to be rich...
