Cryphos Update 24/12/2018

Our first MVP iteration is now live on www.cryphos.com

The platform is online currently with a focus on the crypto discovery functionality in phase one. You can start your user acceptance testing and let us know your feedback on any Cryphos  functionality, user experience or design aspects. We will circulate an Excel sheet where you can write down your comments and we will prioritise them accordingly. We will follow an agile approach and release the improvements in chunks once we have a sizeable amount.

This is only the first iteration of the MVP and will look a little rough so please adjust your expectations accordingly, we expect the look and feel to improve dramatically with the next iterations. The important part was to get functionality done and hence the front end was not the priority at this stage. Our phase 2 roadmap includes an enhancement of the front end and an improvement of the user experience.

I took a look around the Sophos website and decided to take a look around the whitepaper. Although I didn't have time to take a complete look at the whitepaper I began reading it and wanted to give some feedback on something I really liked! The info-graphic describing the Sophos platform on page 7. At first I was a bit confused at how the platform would work but due to this info-graphic I was able to easily understand. This is evidence that the cryptocurrency info-graphics you guys plan to utilize will indeed work. I will continue to read the whitepaper these couple next days.

Hope I haven't misunderstood what you were saying.

Good thing we didn't go down the ICO route for this reason - Cryphos had no ICO. ICOs do not justify the capital it generates for the projects leading to statements like yours.

Have a look at the project, we have been transparent with everyone in every possible manner!

we are starting with a mobile web-app initially (i.e a web-based platform that is phone compatible), which will allow us to reach users on all platforms quite easily. In the future, and once we scale our development capacity, we do plan to implement native mobile apps for all major platforms.

I am thinking of freelancer game developers and small boutiques at first. For the MVP launch in December, we will focus on "Crypto Discovery" (screening of crypto projects through infographics/articles), "Crypto Education" (same as Crypto Discovery but on crypto technology in a generic form), and on "Quizzes/Competitions" which are the simplest form of games one can think of. I can already tell you that one of our bounty campaigns will be using the "Quizzes" functionality of Sophos, and we will want to draw a lot of users with the potential rewards by offering those quizzes on a regular basis.

Phase 2 of the Cryphos project will then move on to the more sophisticated games (such as the ideas I have mentionned above) from a development perspective as well as making sure that the "Crypto Discovery" and "Crypto Education" sections get filled up with content. We have contact to a small team of game developers who are working on other games but it's too early to say whether a partnership could be established.

When you talk about developers, are you inferring to small developers looking to establish games for the first time or already existing and well established games/developers.

There are very few constraints on the kinds of games that will be available on the Cryphos platform as we want to attract a large community of developers to implement and upload games that better the understanding about cryptos and the associated technology: those games will either be promotional, and catering to a specific crypto-project where crypto marketers contract game developers to implement their vision, or generic games about the technology/use cases/added value (imagine a game where you are in a virtual city and you learn how to use cryptocurrencies in different situations of life, or a game where you go through different levels of knowledge and can get a "Certificate of achievement" with a summary of the concepts you have worked through). We could even push the latter concept further by advertising specific cryptocurrencies in that virtual city according to the use cases that crypto is pushing and where the development is funded by crypto marketers pooling their budgets together to establish their presence.  

The possibilities are really endless and up to the imagination of everyone who wants to develop something on Sophos.

We have just started trading on the first exchange today (Coinexchange). We have had no ICO for this project and due to this we have kept an exchange allocation to be able to apply to exchanges as many of them have high fees.

We are aiming at more top 100 exchanges in volume as we believe this project will need a lot of exposure to be able to reach to our intended target.

We have not gone down the ICO route especially with the bad light ICOs currently have with the SEC/regulations etc. We believe our transparency in this project is key in ensuring a good future for Cryphos. We have locked the team supply for 18 months and have token allocations set for applying to further exchanges/marketing/operating to gain more exposure. We have managed to get on a top 100 exchange without an ICO and we are actively working towards our platform and also to applying to further top 100 exchanges.

Our aim in creating a crypto educational platform will be split in to 3 categories:

-> Education by use of infographics.
-> Education by use of games submitted by external developers.
-> Education by use of competitions.

All content on the website, be it games, quizzes, infographics... it will be crypto related. It is just a way of portraying crypto information in various methods.

Hey there. There was no ICO because this was a coin swap.
There was a project named ZLancer, using ZCG as their currency.
Owners quit the project because of lack of motivation and funds.

Weeks later, a group of new devs decided to ask for ZCG's ownership, developed SOPHOS token, and made a swap possible on CoinExchange. So now it's a totally new project, but it started with a swap.

I can see you haven't arranged any ICO, have it? Am I right then you have entered the exchange market directly. So who like to buy any project during pre-sale or ICO they must not happy (maybe). However, it's your company strategy. I am not advisor so it's only my personal opinion. By the way I see in your project description that it's an education system project but I am confused about this "c) game developers and designers to develop educational games targeted toward cryptoassets, allowing further development and understanding of how the technology can transform the way the world operates, while earning rewards from the participation fees. "
