Love these suggestions  Sentiment analysis should be fairly straightforward to add. As for extracting a summary from each article, that sounds much harder - at least for it to be automated. Good question, we definitely plan on releasing a mobile app in the future yes. Especially given the preference for most people in the world to consume news content on mobile. That said, we are currently laser focused on building a great user experience on the web version. We also need to get the timing right of the mobile app given the Apple app store and Google Play banned quite a few apps that had embedded tokens.

I like the idea. I think it would be very useful to have a summary on top of each news, like main point(s). Also, a global sentiment of the news would be useful as a ML signal for bots, so if you had those, you would be getting lots of scrapper traffic, which would in return result in some backlinks from various aggregators around the net.

so oroshi was built to become a platform that became a source of reliable information and knowledge for everyone. will you create the mobile app too?

Excellent question! We are currently in the final stages of auditing the code internally and are following this approach:
- Phase 1: We will be releasing the API documentation within 2 weeks. We are going to release bounties for developers to built apps/portfolio trackers/news feeds/chrome plugins on top of our own API.
- Phase 2: Releasing our scoring backend modules such as the algorithms for the trading competition, the project scoring and the user ratings. This way we can show exactly the systems behind our website.
- Phase 3: Release of all the modules. Subject to an external code audit.

We're excited to announce https://oroshi.io/ which aims to map the worlds' facts and opinions on cryptoassets from trusted individuals. The platform is already functional with an embedded Ethereum token, created on https://aragon.org/. It is however still in beta so you can expect to find some bugs here and there. Please do let us know if you find any!

What is Oroshi

Oroshi maps the world’s facts and opinions on digital currencies through a curated community of contributors and data partners. Blockchain projects committed to transparency and self-regulation can share key information and have it validated by the community through an open-source platform.

What problem does Oroshi solve?

Digital currency markets are complex and opaque to navigate. The industry is rife with fake news and market manipulation. In the absence of regulatory bodies, the industry has yet to agree on standard disclosure requirements and auditing systems. Questionable information and opinions are therefore scattered across a large number of disparate sources with inconsistent formats. In other circumstances, information that would be common place to have in traditional assets is completely missing.  This misinformation or lack thereof, results in a sub-optimal allocation of financial and human capital.

The solution: Oroshi

The Oroshi solution creates economic incentives for cryptoasset stakeholders to embrace transparency, self-regulate and share information. Oroshi uses a curated community of researchers, thought leaders and validators to complete due diligence and analysis of cryptoassets, enabling greater transparency. The native token, WIND, is required to be listed in the registry and is also used to economically reward community members for their research, analysis and validation activities as well as data steam providers.

The Oroshi organisation

At the core of our philosophy is disintermediating the creation and maintenance of information on digital currencies to present a global, unbiased opinion and pulse. The Oroshi organisation is itself decentralised and was created on Aragon. All major decisions are put to vote on Aragon and only token holders are able to participate.
