yes they are planning.. Mark Zuckerberg already announced that they will discontinue that P2P payments on messenger starting on June 15

That's a good news and that will be a stable coin that will be backed by something. As far as i know facebook has already talked with exchange site regarding to list its cryptocurrency. That's a good news for us. but this coin will be used for What's App.
If by something you mean censorship endorsing platform, infiltrated by various secret services, directly aimed at extracting personal information and international trade with these info than, this is truly something great and valuable.
Let's face it, this Moloch of a company is at it's ends and those are the last years of this ridiculous trend.
IMO this coin is way, way to late to actually mean something.

  yes! you are right but you know that there are more than 2 billion users of facebook when facebook launch own stablecoin there are million of peoples they have no idea about digital currency but these miilions of people will make her interst on it when fb launch stablecoin

Facebook has beefed up its blockchain team in recent months, with a hiring push and at least one talent-minded acquisition. The company is currently seeking to fill nearly 20 blockchain-related positions. According to the Times report, more than 50 Facebook engineers are dedicated to the company’s blockchain project.
