Tool 1: https://cryptomining.tools/bitcoin-mining-calculator/

Share your configuration with others by copy/pasting a url for a specific miner or an exact calculator configuration, like:

Code:
https://cryptomining.tools/bitcoin-mining-calculator/?miner=Canaan%20AvalonMiner%201041f&hashrate=33.5&power=2110

--------------------------------------------------

Tool 2: https://cryptomining.tools/compare-mining-hardware/

Edit the prices or TH/s or Watts of a miner and save it to your account

Show or hide a Quantity column to calculate the profitability of 100 miners or just 1 miner

purchased a t17 from scott today   I will post on it soon.

Hackers-97

turning machines off for part of the day would only be done if you have a staggered power bill.

say 9 am to 6 pm  your power cost is 13 cents a kwatt
say 6 pm to 9 am  your power cost is 5 cents a kwatt

so 9 hours gear off
and 15 hours gear on   would make sense to do.

Most miners are designed to run 24/7/365 non stop no need to rest.

other then a power deal like the one example I gave.

Scott did a good job getting it shipped a 53th pro . Price was about 2250 and he gave me the chance to use PayPal. He let me use PayPal as a have a very good rep here on Bitcointalk.

He talked back and forth with me on telegram.
I will very likely do more buying from him

A GUI screen shot   40.6 th at 1480 watts = 1480/40.6 = 36.4 watts a th

at 7000 a coin and a diff of 6.75t this will turn a profit at 10 cent power

it will earn 10.46 a day

and cost

2.84 in power at 8  cents =  7.62 a day profit
3.20 in power at 9   cents =  7.26 a day profit
3.56 in power at 10 cents =  6.90 a day profit
3.92 in power at 11 cents =  6.54 a day profit
4.27 in power at 12 cents =  6.19 a day profit
4.62 in power at 13 cents = 5.84 a day profit
4.98 in power at 14 cents = 5.48 a day profit

Diff rate may see a big rise soon as this miner puts people with 12 cent power cost back in the game.

I like the idea and the gear list is long. Phil did you get your  s17 or s17 Pro? I was not sure what you were getting.

My s17 brokered by Scott is due today.

As requested by scott I reviewed and offered improvements to his format.

I used bitcoinwisdoms  for both ltc and btc

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/difficulty --------- out of date now

scotts is up to date.

by using both scotts and bitcoinwisdom  I can do what I like to do and more.

I am hoping for the s17 to arrive in good shape today

I will review it and scotts broker service when I get it.

To anyone reading I am in the middle of buying a s17 using scott to broker the deal.

I will be reviewing the s17 and Scott's services once the gear arrives this Fri.

This thread was all his idea and a good one to anyone looking to expand or sell off a

Sha-256 mini farm  big farm  or one or 2 pieces of old or new sha-256 gear.

Scott helped me with a recent purchase and was very prompt. He is one of the most active and honest hardware guys on telegram

Thank you so much for this tool! So easy to pick at someone else's work, but if it was easy to make something "perfect," well.. then it wouldn't be called "perfect." It would just be "normal"  Grin

True. For now I’ll put the exchange where it draws the BTC price from. In the near future, I can make it editable.

'The right to privacy matters'
I've added a slew of miners tonight. Let me know if I missed anything.

Looks pretty complete.

I see a btc price  looks like I can no change it.  I assume it sets to a current price of say coinbase?  if you allow a plug in option it would help.  if you mention the chart the auto price comes from it would be okay also.

I don't see the diff at all.   I assume  it sets to current diff. If you can have it open at current diff but allow it to be typed in differently as an option it helps.

This is nice work on your part.
I like that you did many sha-256 coins

Thanks for the feedback! I will add more of the older miners very soon.

Nice especially that we are up to 8100+ a coin

I do a lot of work trying to analyze what a BTC coin should cost.  As compared to what it does cost.

I create  various floor prices for BTC

I base them on the single best quality of BTC  that can be used by industry.
Power load shedding for power plants around the world.

I did a lot of work for a 40 soon to be 100 megawatt farm that is feed by 5  coal power plants.

Coal fired plants do not turn off boilers to spin a turbine that makes power.

The cost of shutting down a boiler /turbine  in a plant is 4-9 days of energy

So they sell the excess.  The farm I worked with  was doing a 2 megawatt minimum to 40 megawatt maximum.

So they pay one price and use the excess from the 5 plants.  This is happening all over the world.
So if  a load shedding deal is setup at 4 cents (very common number)  btc has a base price of 4 cents a Kwatt so an s9 setup based on 4 cent power should work.  eventually it won't  if we add enough s17's and m20's but that may be 2 more years time.

Any software that you have is good for me to pull numbers. And create an energy price value for a coin of BTC.

26650 th  or 2000 s9's earn 1 coin a day  they use about 63000 kwatts  so x 0.04 = 2500 in power if you have 4 cent power

so based on s9's a BTC is worth no less then 2500 in power   that is my floor number

I do a lot more. then just that .  but your numbers are very helpful to me.

'The right to privacy matters'
I will look at them.
Maybe they are merit worthy.

After a fast look

They are okay but could use some mods.
I do not seem to be able to put in  older gear  ie

 s9
 avalon a921 a 841
 m10

Am I missing an option to look at them?

It would be good to know how to judge earning power of older gear and how or when to get new gear.

Letting older gear on the chart helps to judge what to do.

I took a longer look and this chart on this link needs more entries

https://cryptomining.tools/compare-mining-hardware/

it has s9 s9i s9j  at low speed  which is about 13.5 th at 1323 watts  but enhanced low of 9,5 th at 800 watts is missing

it is missing m10 at hi speed m10 at low speed
it is missing avalon a921 a851 a841
it is missing s15 s11 t15  high low speeds

all of the bolded gear you sell at times  adding this would help a lot.

Take my setup 600 th of mixed gear.  power bill is ½ the coins mined

I have 1 s15
I have 1 t15
I have 1 a921
I have 22 s9 mixed letters
I have 8 M10's
I have 2 a721
I have 4 or 5 s7-ln

On order
1 s-17
1 m20

Since my power cost is always ½ the coins I have to judge all possibilities  and you chart would help but not be complete

I use these 2  charts a lot.
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

if you look at them  the diff is wrong and coin prices are wrong so Need to correct them or be far off.

but they allow any number I want.

the new you put in are all good and I can check my work on the other charts.  But if you add the other units I would really only need your chart and save a lot of time.

This is a very good start on your part.  I gave you 1 merit and would give more if it gets updated.

Thanks Phil
