Sorry, only saw this now but I don't follow entirely but assume you're referring to me as you quoted my post. Just to be clear (and despite the letters in my nickname), I have no affiliation or contacts with that company. I've never even heard of it until now...

Yes, I am quite familiar with Whatsminer products as I have ordered a bunch of both M10 and D1 from Pangolin.

I've ordered a bunch of miners from them already with no issues?

Please be aware the DJ Technology Co. Ltd. is supposedly another distributor. So seems interesting there is a newbie "copper memeber" who is very familiar with Whatsminer product in this thread.

Are there reputable members who have purchased from whatsminer.net?

Thanks fanatic, exactly what I was after.

Scott no allegiance here to Pango, only our clients. There are some persons here I respect greatly. Others I wont mention have even lost that in the short time I've operated this account.

We did reach out to whatsminer.net at one point for demo's and recall nothing pertinent happening from it. Much success, glad to see a state side company with access to some gems.

Minefarmbuy, I’m sorry I don’t participate as much on bitcointalk than you or others do. I’ve only been in the industry for over a year or so.  Dozens of bitcointalk moderators and members as well as hundreds of others in the mining industry will attest that I’m legit and thousands of people can attest that DJ Technology is legit. I understand if you have an allegence to Pango and if you prefer to remain sceptical of me or whatsminer.net, that’s your choice.

Scott was generous enough to get one of these into my hands for testing before being released. I cant vouch for anyone else but Scott is absolutely the real deal. Just my 2 cents...

Thought I would give an update on my M10s experience.

This thing is a monster. The 140mm fans are so loud I hear them over the thousands of S9s in my data center.

I have now had the machine running for about a month with zero issues. It has consistently been hashing at 54.9TH using about 3450w.

It would be nice to have numbers in the "low power" setting, What is the maximum efficiency setting for the M10S? 44TH? 60watt per TH?

Cheesy Apologies, copied that text over and didn't realize I left that there. Haven't tested the M10S yet myself.

How is this unconfirmed when a few posts ago I shared my numbers with the actual M10S including screenshots and power draw....?

Buy from pango my spidey *scam* sense is tingling here lately.

There will be more M10 in March. There will be M10S in February. Right now only a limited batch of M10S are available. They are selling for $31/TH.

Indeed, MicroBT are the manufacturer of Whatsminer equipment but from all I've understood there are close ties between Pangolin and MicroBT. I have not been able to source better prices with anyone else and I have received excellent service so far from Pangolin.

My connection with them is based on being a large scale customer and since I have extensive connections in the industry they've asked me to help source some new business.

The M10S was listed on their site for sure but it's not available from them at the moment.

I read it as Pangolin was "sales outlet" or distributor.

I am curious though dj_wldwst - What is your connection with Pangolin, if any?

I never noticed them selling the m10s on their site, I may have missed it all together. I was definitely intrigued by this model, but ATM the price makes the m10 better for me as you stated.

@Myrig - I know there is a whole other issue going on with you and offordscott, but let's keep the threads clean, maybe consider using the reputation board in the future.

Just to be clear... PangolinMiner is NOT the manufacturer of the WhatsMiner miners. It is MicroBT.

...you would always deal with the sales outlet of the manufacturer (Pangolin Miner) directly.

The difference in price and performance between the M10 and M10S means the M10 is a much better purchase at the moment.
M10   2190w @33TH: 66w/TH
M10S 3575w @55TH: 65w/TH

Apart from that these machines are excellent and so far I'm very happy with the service received from Pangolin.

In case anyone out there is thinking of buying I can source excellent prices for these regardless of the end destination.
Just to be clear though: I will never ask you for money, you would always deal with the sales outlet of the manufacturer (Pangolin Miner) directly.

2 would be a minimum of 33 amps....I wouldnt recommend it

edit: I guess if you fed it a full 240v it might only draw 15 amps each, still way over the circuits continuous rating

Yea, and they're louder than s9's so the wife would not be happy, nor neighbors.

The M10S is very loud. I heard it firing up in the middle of a rack of s9s clear as day in my very noisy datacenter.

Mine is currently hashing at 54.87TH @ 3455w. It has only been on for a few minutes, once i have let it run for a while I will post a review of what I have seen so far.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I got to say that I don't have a M10s.

It seems that the actual nominal max. power capacity is slightly less than mentioned in the MicroBT website.

220-230V

Well that looks like their really playing fast and loose with max power draw.

Is there any info regarding burn in for long term 24 hour operation? Just curious as I've always been weary of built un PSU's

starting on weekend i will put the miner in my farm for long term test

The M10S comes to around $50/TH and comes with a built-in 3200W PSU. The fans are 5.5" x 5.5" (139.7mm x 139.7mm).

wait what...3200W psu but on 55TH the unit consumes 3500W? Cheesy

I just received 1 M10S today, getting 51 tH/s and 3213 watts at the wall in low power mode.  Exactly 63 W/TH.  I don't think my PDU can handle regular power mode so I didn't test it; I was already getting warnings on the PDU with low power mode set.

Whatsminer stuff looks great.

Easy yo be enthusiastic about it till pricing comes into play. Love what their doing but over priced and will be even less accessible till we find out how exemption turns out for tariffs.

Edit. After I posted this I checked Pano's website. M10s has been removed and don't see any tweets about it anymore.

Sorry Scott, but Halong was damage enough to the community.

WhatsMiner will not bring you money or ROI.
Same like Halong or Inno.

Just see what chip design they use (10nm from Samsung, 14nm or 16nm).
But they gain the same efficiency like the odd and old 16nm Bitmain chips.

IT IS ALL ABOUT DESIGN and about HASH/WATT.
And this chip design of Bitmain - translated to a 10nm or 7nm chip is like the one ring: To rule them all.

7nm chip was announced 8 hours before on Bitmain:

I'm kicking myself for not installing 30A instead of 20A. A larger subpanel with 5x30A is infinitely better than the 5x20A I have... except for the heat and noise. Smiley Lesson for people jumping into the mining world: more power is always better than less power!

well the m10 does  34.5 th at 68 watts a th  which is the best gear I ever owned.

if these do 44th at 60 watts
and 54th at 65 watts  it would be amazing improvement .
