DOGE/ORG/PTC/BUR Pool: http://pools.infinity-systems.nl:9328

I haven't been recieveing any Peseta, is it working?
The Bur is coming in, but not the PTC.
Still waiting for the ORG client to finish syncing so don't know about that yet.

Has anyone done some calculations? What is the profitability estimate in BTC for 1 scrypt MH?

I haven't done any profitability calculations myself (yet). If you / someone is going to keep in mind that the way p2pool works it takes a bit of time for the payouts to ramp up to their full payouts. At the point you stop mining on the pools there will still be payouts, decreasing of course. This is inherent for p2pool to prevent pool hopping.

With the merged capabilities when you point 1 mh/sec to, for example, the ekrona pool you're pointing 1 mh to ekrona, 1 mh to org, 1 mh to peseta and 1 mh to burbu. In effect it's like having 4 rigs that put out 1 mh/sec each and pointing them to 4 different coins. Efficiency of your rig is allot higher with the merged mining aspect.

Another aspect / problem is that the pools are still young and with some of the merged coins having a somewhat high difficulty we're more or less depending on luck to find a block on them (peseta is a good example, allot of network hashrate and our hashrate is a drop of water in the big bucket). For ORG and Burbu coin we're seeing regular blocks coming by, peseta is more or less based on luck at the moment due to our low hashrate compared to the network hashrate.

Keep in mind though that merged mining on scrypt is rather new and the coins that support it are relatively new as well, some of them might not even be on main stream exchanges (yet)

The DOGE pool is now updated as well to support Peseta and Burbu, payouts will happen once a day for peseta and every 3 hours for burbu!
Keep in mind to use the pseuso diff setting if you're mining with us!

The next coin we're looking into is sapphire coin, we're testing the merged capabilities and compatibility now on one of our test pools. If it all works out we'll be adding sapphire coin to the ekrona, piggy and doge pool, this would mean mining 5(!) coins simultaneously!

Awesome!  This will help benefit all the coins.

I hope all coins will benefit with the merged aspect as well! We've added PTC and BUR to our piggy coin to support piggy's hashrate, it's been falling a bit past few weeks while it's certainly a coin with a good objective. Hoping to raise that hashrate for them so they can get some spotlights on them!

Thanks for the great pools!

The merged mining is a great bonus Smiley

Thanks for the compliment! I've just updated the main post to reflect the upcoming updates for new merged coins on the existing pools. On a side note, we've updated the eKrona, Aurora and Piggy wallets on the pools yesterday Smiley

Merged Mining?
Basically this means mining multiple coins at the same time with the same amount of computing power. This means you're getting multiple coins for the same amount of work.

What other coins are being mined?
At the moment all of our pools are mining Org Coin as the merged coin.
UPDATE: Our eKrona pool now supports Peseta and Burbu Coin aswell!
UPDATE: Our Piggy pool now supports Peseta and Burbu Coin as well!
UPDATE: Our Doge pool now supports Peseta and Burbu Coin as well!

You can find the windows version of the org coin wallet at www.fyrstikken.tv/orgcoin/

How do I get paid out?
The pool is based on P2Pool, this means that the primary coin you are mining will be deposited to your wallet as soon as a block is found. These will show up as mined funds, DO NOT USE AN EXCHANGE WALLET.

The Org Coins will be paid out once ever few hours (depending on primary coin) to your Org Coin wallet. For this to happen you will need to bind your Org Address to your primary coin address. This can be done simply by entering the two addresses at the pool pages.

Pool Information
  • PPLNS payout with vardiff
  • 1% Pool fee
  • P2Pool payments can take up to 24 hours to ramp up after you start mining, please wait this long before seeking assistance.
  • Payouts require that you solve at least one share of difficulty greater than the P2Pool share target per day.
  • If you have very high rejects you can try the following settings in cgminer: scantime=9, expiry=8, queuesize=0 this should increase performence
  • You will notice an increased stale rate in your miner compared to a traditional pool, this is normal and expected behaviour for P2Pool (~5-10%)

Where can I find the pools?
LTC/ORG Pool: http://pools.infinity-systems.nl:9327
AUR/ORG Pool: http://pools.infinity-systems.nl:9326
DOGE/ORG/PTC/BUR Pool: http://pools.infinity-systems.nl:9328

Difficulty - USE THIS!
If you wish to manually control your pseudo-share difficulty outside of the range provided by the dynamic system you can do the following:

Quote
primary coin address+0.00000116 x Hash Rate in KHash

The following are suggested targets for various hash rates if you want to grab one quickly:

KHash/s Difficulty
50 +0.00005821
100 +0.00011641
250 +0.00029103
500 +0.00058207
750 +0.00087310
1000 +0.00116414
