How do ledder maintain security and privacy of their data?
The network has a secure and attack-resistant architecture.
INTEFRACE LAYER - franchisees' servers that ensure communication with the blockchain network. These servers are the gateways to the network level. All external data requests go through these gateways. This way, the network level is protected from web attacks. DDOS attack is blocked at this level. The servers are located near the franchisee, which allows to improve the transmission capacity of the gateways and avoid the firewalls of some countries, e.g. China.
COMPUTING LEVEL consists of dozens of nodes located in the data centers of big companies (advertising operators and advertising platforms). At early stages of Ledder Network growth, servers of this level will be owned by franchisees. The network nodes contain blockchain registers and make financial transactions between market players.At this level, there is control over macro financial transactions. With all the companies that control the settlement sites legal contracts will be concluded.
NETWORK LEVEL can include up to a million of individual nodes located near the billboards. Between the network nodes, there is a custom UDP-like exchange protocol; each packet is digitally signed and stored in the blockchain. No ordinary package can be distributed on the network; any external attack will be installed on the 1st node. Nodes of this level are grouped in a block cell, each cell consists of at least 3 nodes. Thus, the confirmation of financial microtransactions comes from different owners of the equipment, which eliminates counterfeiting.
Content moderation
Each jurisdiction has its advertising laws. To comply with local legislations, Ledder will introduce a two-level moderation system consisting of freelance moderators and government officials.
Premoderation
Ledder will reward moderators with ULD tokens. Moderators will make sure the advertising content complies with the local legislation. After the content has been approved for placement, a company is allowed to place its ads at the specific locations.
Each moderator has a reputation rating. Each video ad is checked by several moderators. In case of a dispute between the moderators, new moderators are assigned to check the ad.
If a moderator makes a mistake, their rating drops. As a result, the moderator receives fewer opportunities to moderate the content. This way, we’ll establish a self-regulating moderator community.
Final moderation
Final moderation by government officials will follow premoderation and take place in the countries where outdoor ads have to be approved by the authorities.
After a successful moderation, a video ad is given a digital signature and can be displayed during several months without additional moderation. That will reduce ad placement time to just 1 minute.
Account verification
In some countries, to place an ad, you need to verify your identity. Complying with this requirement, we’ll design an optional verification system. If an advertiser hasn’t performed the required verification actions, they won’t be able to place their ads on the specific billboards.
Also, we’ll introduce different verification levels. The higher the level, the bigger coverage an advertising campaign will have. The verification process will be performed by our partners.
