Waste of time. Best part of this coin has been the BTC conversation.

I've owned Antminer S1, S3, and now S5.  Never mined anything solo with them, I suppose because I mainly just mined BTC at BTCguild anyway.  Normally I'd help you out but I'm drunk as fuck and about to go enjoy the new surround sound system as I pass out.  Dual 18" Dayton Ultimax subs FTW!

Staking can be profitable, but thats a whole other ball of wax.  It depends alot on the way the particular POS algo is set up.  Some POS coins allow you to get ahead easier than others depending on the strategy you employ and the parameters of the coin.  You can't count on selling your stakes everyday and making money.  Trust me, it doesn't work.  This is a topic I could drone on for hours about though.

Really the best way to make money is to learn how to trade, and when promising new coins are released, rent mining rigs.

Anything USB is not worth it these days.  If it's just a toy for fun to get a handful of coins here and there, thats one thing.  Understand though that you will NEVER make a ROI.

If you want to get into mining but have a limited budget, i'd recommend buying a used Antminer S3 off ebay.  You can get one for under $100 shipped.  If you get in on the right coin at the right time, or have access to free or cheap electricity, you MIGHT actually ROI.

Pretty much worthless. Just compare the hashrate outputs. If a few block erupters give you a gigahash, you'll still be 1/10000 of a miningpool with 10 terrahash, which is very commonplace nowadays.

If i for example had some usb block erupters that mine sha-256 could i throw them at a coin like this?
