Hey folks,

As in all decent start, we need some help and to be fair we are willing to give a compensation for this
Hence the bounty-thread!

Below is a short piece of information about the man that inspired us for this, but below that, we will be lisiting bounty's ( some are transferred from the ann-thread). We are starting off with just some basics, to get things moving, but later on we will be increasing the difficulty (poss. scientific game development, full graphics rebuild of the website and more of that stuff). Since we are planning for the long run, we prefer to act like a diesel engine, start of relaxed and easy, but slowly and steady picking up the pace.

Rankine

A temperature measurement scale created by a man of science, from civil engineering until thermodynamics, ranging from a complete theory of the steam engine and all heat engines, until his Rankine temperature scale. No one else then William John Macquorn Rankine could have been the man to create the Rankine temperature scale.

Being a man of engineering science and on later age a man of many branches in science, he experimented with thermodynamic processes looking for fundamental laws. He wrote many theories, among the Rankine scale of temperature, but also spoke and wrote about what later became the “conservation of energy”.

Rankine saw a connection in the complete natural appearances of visible motion, mechanical motion, heat, light, magnetism, electricity and chemical energy.

Why a coin named after Rankine?

We chose his name because of what he achieved, Rankine devoted a big part (if not all) of his live to science. He crossed many different types of science and worked mostly from what he saw and that tickled his mind.

This is exactly why, we currently all work (yes even u) with some sort of science, some just plain and simple by using a car, others by being directly in the research field completing his or hers own research. We wish to fill in a void, a void between science and the blockchain.

We see room to fill in a gap, by offering services for researchers and creating a form of compensation for those supporting the researchers.

We are aware that there will always be other kind of services already supporting the researchers, yet we have not seen these around much on the level were looking at. Most of the interviews, data collection and other kinds of gathering of information, these are mostly based upon open question for support, with a bare minimum of incentive behind it and that is exactly where we see the gap, the room for an incentive that can be based upon a user based valuation.
