Its really sad to say, since JAN 1st 2019, their discord has stated that developer had to have surgery and he is not available to do coding anymore.  The devs have stopped responding to people on discord, and its a matter of time before all links to website, GitHub and discord are closed..

There is no exchange, there is no value to this coin..   This coin is DEAD!

Do you intend to list this coin on Binance, cryptopia or coinexchange ? I only want to trade coins on these exchanges because of my faith.
I also like this algorithm (lyra2rev2 and masternode function) .  how many coins for masternode and the masternode rewards?

In the short term, CoinExchange may be a possibility. Do you know their listing fees?

Last week, SECI was listed on CREX24, currently ranked #127 on CMC by adjusted volume (not far below CoinExchange). https://crex24.com/exchange/SECI-BTC

Binance is a long way away, given their exorbitant listing fees, and Cryptopia would be a mid-term goal, but are also very costly.

Masternode information can be found on the website: https://seci.io - Masternode cost is 30,000 SECI, and current rewards are 5.7 SECI per block (split between all masternodes). For masternode reward balancing information, please review the blackpaper linked on the website.

Well, since there's no lot of new posts here, I guess this @paganagentga bot is ok.  Grin

I couldn't tell for sure if it was a bot or just a non-english speaker not trying very hard. It's not us (which i realize is what we would say if it was), so I'm not sure who/why lol.

Welcome https://hash4.life/ back to the SECI Pool party!

Give them a try and get some SECI.

Connection String Example:

Code:
-a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://hash4.life:4533 -u WALLET -p c=SECI

Our other pools, http://mine.cloudpools.net/ and https://bsod.pw/, are both still active and hashing, of course, but more is better.

If you know of another solid pool, please let us know or have them contact us!

Your project idea is interesting and will be useful for many freelancers in the world. but projects like this there are many competitors in the market, what are your differences and your strategy to compete with others?

SeciPay focuses on ease of use for merchants, and obviously their users. We have direct experience in eCommerce, user experience, and custom development, all from an agency standpoint, which gives us an advantage. By making it as easy as possible, one day as easy as accepting credit card transactions, and actually executing our ideas with proper infrastructure and uptime, we will win over both the merchant and consumer markets, improving cryptocurrency adoption in general and obviously the use of SeciPay and other SECI projects.

We also don't plan to be greedy and charge large monthly or yearly fiat payments for the platform/services, only small crypto-based fees (TBD).

In short. Do what we say, better than others. Offer more, for less. And under-promise/over-deliver.

SeciBusiness adds another layer to SeciPay, allowing us to easily integrate with many ecommerce platforms and letting users easily manage and report on their integrations. This platform will also allow Seci Blockchain Services users to manage their services/sidechains, which we will have more information on in the coming months.

Hope that answers your questions!

Hello DEV, this is not a spam message. I didn't find a contact form or email in your website to approach you in a proper way.

I run the website altcoinmarkets.info, I would love to have your project on board.

Normally I have two listing options;

- Standard (0.01 BTC): Listing within 36 hours of payment.
- Express (0.025 BTC): Listing within 12 hours of payment.

In this case I want to offer you a full listing package on altcoinsmarkets.info platform for 0.025 BTC

- Express listing (listing within 12 hours of payment in Masternode Section with all your links, logos, specifications).
- Advertising: Homepage Banner at your discretion (banner located in the top of the homepage).

On average I get 500 visitors to my website everyday and my traffic is super targeted. I advertise my website on cryptocurrency Discords, Telegrams, Bitcointalk forum, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.

I will be glad to receive your answer and discuss the options for placing your cryptocurrency on altcoinmarkets.info

Best regards,

Being an open source, does the company that adopts the SECI as a form of payment, can make some changes in the code so that it can adapt to its form of service?

As a form of payment, if you were accepting SECI via SeciPay on your eCommerce website, no you wouldn't alter the SECI core code to do that. SeciPay is essentially a payment gateway, like Authorize.net or Paypal, for crypto.

You could fork SECI into your own coin/blockchain, if you like, because we are open source. Or, you could fork SeciPay, because it is also open source, but if you are simply using our products/services, you can't alter the code and it still be SECI.

If you were to use the still-under-design-and-development SECI Blockchain Solutions side-chain for a business application, etc, you wouldn't be "accepting it as a form of payment", you would pay SECI as a toll to utilize a side chain to run an application/service/etc. In that case, there will be some options for your side chain (TBD), but no you would not be altering the fundamental code of SECI itself. Your app would do whatever it was designed to, and use the SECI side chain for public or private confirmations, etc. You wouldn't be building your own blockchain as a side chain to SECI, the side chain is provided for you to integrate with.

So, SECI is aiming to become the easy to use coins that can be used to pay any kind of transaction easily.
With that possibilities, everyone should be easier to utilize this coins.

SECI is not specifically designed to be a "currency". The SeciPay project, launching soon on it's first official merchant site (Ravencoin.shop), does not require a merchant to accept, or a end user/customer to use, SECI. SeciPay is a "product" of the SECI project.

Likewise, SeciBusiness will be a platform to manage SeciPay on various platforms, reporting, and, down the road, Seci Blockchain Solutions projects/applications.

SECI coins will be used to pay "tolls" on the Seci Blockchain Solutions side chains.

We are approaching it from every angle, looking to provide value to the community/miners/hodlers in multiple ways, long term Smiley

To be honest, there's nothing new with that goal. If you noticed, that's the main objective of most of the coins that you will encounter here. The question is, how many will really adapt this coin and utilize it for their daily transactions. This will just end up in trading. Other goals are just secondary if in case, this will push thru.

We are excited to announce the official SeciPay WooCommerce V1.0 Release Candidate - a fully functioning, multi-currency payment gateway for Wordpress/WooCommerce!

Key additions/improvements to the original SECI-only version released in June:
- Added multi-currency support
- Integrated BTC & RVN
- Optimized/consolidated currency settings
- Optimized user experience
- Automated currency exchange rates
- Cold storage optimization
- A few bug fixes

We still have a long way to go, but are confident that we are moving towards a product that will increase cryptocurrency adoption and provide value to SECI itself and our community.

**If you know merchants that may be interested in accepting cryptocurrency on their ecommerce website, please let us know - we will begin reaching out for actual live testing very shortly.**

Next:
- Look for a demo video and integration on the official SECI website soon
- Getting documentation in order
- Development wise, the next step is to optimize multi-account servers for ease of merchant setup
- Starting to reach out and get live testing merchants
- MORE CURRENCIES! Make sure to vote (above) or suggest in #coin-suggestions
- Beginnings/exploration of auto-exchange integration

I have been looking at this project almost from the start.

What I can tell about SECI is despite they are not so active on Discord, probably because the team is small, is that they are delivering, and for me that is what I am looking for. They already delivered the secipay beta what I beliebe with more work can be the game changer on this project. Take a look for yourself.

Read all the SCAM alerts that were put here in ANN. We all know most of the MN coins are SCAM. I don`t have a cristal ball about this one but I hope they join the small group of "real" crypto project and not scam.

Good luck in the future SECI team.

do you have other products other than the 2 items listed? what will i do with your seci stickers?  Tongue what are your target products to be listed on your platform?

These products are just something tangible that users can use SeciPay to buy. There will only be the two for now. The platform is not the products listed on the store, or the store itself, it's the ability to easily and intuitively purchase products online with cryptocurrency (SECI now, more currencies soon), and for merchants/retailers to easily integrate and manage SeciPay within their online stores.

We have launched the BETA for SECIPay!

Info below:

------ This is a real test ------

**Unless you tell us otherwise**, we will order and ship the ordered products (stickers) to the (US ONLY) address on your order. If you only want to test, or if you are outside of the US, send us your transaction or order ID IN DISCORD and we will refund your SECI.

Initial costs are in USD. SeciPay will support multiple currencies, so there will always be a base currency (selectable) on the front end and the equivalent coin cost will appear when the payment coin of choice is selected by the user.

When you add a product to cart and check out, enter your info, click "Generate Address", and on the next screen an address will generate. Once you send coin to that address, the screen will update to confirmed once there have been 2 confirmations on the transaction + the time it takes for the heartbeat to check again (It's possible that explorer can get backed up, if after 2 confirmations it doesn't confirm, please be patient).

------ You can fake phone numbers, emails, and addresses for testing ------

Just let us know if you faked an address and don't want the stickers so we can cancel the order and refund your SECI. You obviously will not receive an order email if you fake it. Phone number is natively required by woocommerce, and we are not altering core functionality via SeciPay for continuity's sake.

------ This is BETA ------

There will be things you don't like, or would like to see different. We want your feedback (please make one list and send us the details of your critiques). Sometimes we will have reasons we did it this way, don't get butthurt if we say no or put your suggestion on the backlog.

------ This is the Beginning -----

We have only just begun Smiley

OMG, you guys are amazing!  On second thought copying and pasting Straks electrum wallet should take about a week.  Why wait till July for release?

Aww - You're amazing too! Thanks for bumping our post so many times!

But no, we're not pretending to work - we're working. SeciPay is coming along nicely, from the ground up - GASP! - and of course we are forking Straks' version of the Electrum wallet... that's literally why/how open source works. We know it's not major, but we needed the ElectrumX server anyway for SeciPay and other projects, so we figured why not release the Electrum wallet for those that want lightweight - made sense to us. It'll be live as soon as it's ready (copy paste isn't exactly how it works, especially in this sector with missing documentation, etc), but it's not the only thing we're working on, either, and we do like to spend a little time with our families. We do apologize that we're not working fast enough for you, though - we'll try to pick up the pace.

One strange thing!

On famous Signatum github repository (https://github.com/signatumd/source/) it is written in readme.md, I am citing now:
"MOVED

This project has moved to https://github.com/Seci-Coin/Seci

Soepchik"

So, be careful!

Someone brought that to our attention last week; sadly we have no idea who created that account, the repo and made the readme.

It is a brand new repo made by a new user, both of which where created after our announcement.

Just to be clear, We had nothing to do with the former signatum project or anyone that was involved in that project.

Thus far all my efforts to contact the account that put that readme in place have been unsuccessful. If you created that account and repo, please remove us from it.

We don't appreciate the FUD.

What Hamrex stated above is correct, and I most certainly did not create / sign that obviously fake readme.

Clones and forks...  if one word makes you feel better than the other, then you don't understand how related all alt coins are.

I am not going to argue with you, as there clearly is no point. You are going to believe whatever you want to believe.

What I will address is that no one is hiding a pre-mine; the pre-mine of the 10.5 million Seci dev fund is openly declared in the first post, in the litepaper, and in the blackpaper. It has never been hidden, and the role of the dev. fund has been clearly stated as well.  If any project is going to survive long term, it will require funding, and all coin projects only have one source of funding. At 7% our pre-mine is pretty middle of the road. Many are much higher, and Many are much lower.

I felt it was reasonable amount to ensure that the project had a sustainable funding model. If you disagree, I am sorry to hear that; we just just have to agree to disagree.

I selected Straks as base to fork, because it was the best base to use to build on to implement the features we wanted to add, mainly our block chain services. It already had masternodes, and an update bitcoin core version.

That is the entire point of open source projects; You don't have re-invent the wheel and start from scratch when you want to build something. There is code from at least 6 projects that I can count in our current code base, and likely a lot more than that, as those 6 "cloned" from somewhere else. If that bothers you, I suggest you stick to closed source projects.

SECI's initial release has two jobs: To increase total supply and distribute SECI to network participants.

Those two roles take time, and are necessary for our future releases to work properly. Our blockchain services relies Seci-nodes and people with populated wallets that can take part in child chain staking. So seci was released in this most basic form; which is a "clone of Straks" without all the Signatum swap baggage to build the network, get coins into wallets, and get nodes online.

I have no idea why you think we are running a Scam, We are not asking you or anyone else for anything. Cloned STRAKS shamelessly!

https://straks.tech

SCAM ALERT!

Do something original peeps. Same old shit just another day.

We used straks as our base fork; it wasn't announced because it is irrelevant. Straks itself is a clone, we are all clones of clones of clones.

We selected the best base to build on that aligned with our project goals just like all other alt coins do.

Right now, in our initial release, Seci is like straks without the massive premine and weekly payouts to those that swapped Signatum forcing the price down. Beyond that we have our own roadmap to follow which is covered in our black paper.

You need to do some more research or maybe English is not your first language. CLONE and FORK are not semantically interchangeable in this context.  Straks is indeed a FORK with new features and amended code.  You have literally CLONED Straks, changed the MN requirement, plagiarised their reactive equilibria algorithm and then removed all Straks copyright information.

Show some integrity and stop making baseless comments.

Also, note to yourself: your dev premine is 7%, that is 10.5 Million SECI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nearly 200% more than Straks dev premine (excluding Signatum swap), if I understand it correctly.  Who are you kidding with this SCAM?

And on another note, where is the rich-list list on your explorer? I guess the pre-mine is easier to hide without one.  Good job team!

I REPEAT, SCAM ALERT!

Rex Rev.2 algorithm, what is this?
I have never heard about the algorithm.
Is it mineable for GPUs, in particular AMD graphic cards?
In addition, how about its launch day? When I can start mining the coin?

You can start mining today, the algorithm for mining is Lyra2rev2, Rex Rev.2 is our rewards balancing algorithm.

why the pool show    Methuselah (lyra2v2) when have to be seci

You mean in found blocks? That would be due to that coin having all the hash power on the pool currently (no-one was mining Seci), if anyone had been mining this coin and blocks had been found they would have been showing in the list as well.

Anyway, at the moment it isn't known if this coin is working properly with YiiMP pools and I don't have the has rate on the pool to check so have disabled it for now.
