he was bored now. everyone is doing Airdrop instead of doing the right project.

Already possible to mine.
Java is mildly interesting, but what is really cool is BFT.
With the BFT consensus algorithm only one confirmation is needed and the transactions are confirmed permanently.
There is no possibility of the transactions becoming unconfirmed from a fork and no need to wait for more confirmations. BFT does not fork like Bitcoin and is secure against 51% attacks.
The devs should confirm or deny all of this.

Yes, this project seems to bring something news that'll rock hard. Still, I saw a few dev having really bad reactions to Java. I'm not coding do I don't understand why, maybe someone can help me to understand why they're reacting so badly when they spot the Java word ?
It's a matter of preference really. Most experienced dev thinks Java is too easy and is suited for top level applications only not for critical systems. But for this project Java is well suited, it's portable and cross platform.
