Safecoin has launched!

Cryptocurrency has come come to advance so quickly, that the concept behind this coin is now one of collaboration.

Safecoin starts off as a fork of Bytecoin.  However, this is done in a sustainable manner using forknote.  This ensures that the development of Safecoin constantly matches that of Bytecoin.

Will it always be a clone?  No.  Launching is just the first step on the roadmap.  I will be extending this coin past bytecoin, while still remaining compatible with their development, and updating the coin with their updates.   It will have everything bytecoin has, and more.

The economy around this coin is also safer, with a guarantee that one Safecoin will always have the value of one Bitcoin.

More to come...of course.

Still alive.

Delayed, but far from dead.  As Cryptocurrency evolves, so are my visions of what the next true groundbreaker will look like.

Much of my code, I've kept.  A lot of it, in the same breath, I've abandoned or re-written.   And I would still love valuable input.

More to come.

Most/All of the current safety and practicallity issues with cryptocurrency being seen now are being solved in an entirely re-written coin.

But I am not done yet.  My release timeline is currently early march.

Once again, your input is crucial and will not go uncompensated.

p.s....there is a saying in software that it takes three versions to get something right.  My goal is to make the third major release of a cryptocurrency.  Learning from the successes and failures of Bitcoin and Litecoin.  With code entirely re-written from scratch.

Yes.  From what I've written so far, this will be addressed.

Thank you for your input, lol.  Maybe you should have put your bitcoin address down, if you're the only one responding I suppose I have to honour that Smiley

Let me ask another question...without going as far as to suggest a solution myself.

What if there were a coin that could be safely bought online?  With credit or debit or online banking?

Is such a thing possible?

Hello,

I have been working on a new Cryptocurrency, SafeCoin, for the last few months.

I would like to take this coin to the community while it is still at the Conceptual Design stage.

While I have already put together a considerable amount of blueprints, and even coding for this coin, I would like to ask for community input, and if willing, involvement, before going any further.

The name of the coin speaks for itself.  I don't want to pollute your mind with my own ideas.

I will say that I have been writing this cryptocurrency from scratch.  I do not intend to use previous cryptocurrency coding, other than to conform to already established standards.

Please, tell me what you see in the world's Safest, most reliable coin.

Your contributions, including conceptual, will absolutely be honoured.
