It's funny how you made such an effort to supposedly raise awareness in the crypto community about our humble project instead of doing something more meaningful and useful: to use the same energy for spreading the news about it. And if you were so keen in this, you would know that just registering and starting to post some negative comments about any project is not accepted quite well here. But anyhow .. on the topic of your post.

Actually, you're right about most of the things mentioned. What you forgot to mention is what we achieved in these two years. And we are well aware that we were falling behind in the means of updating the info across all the social channels, but it was quite inevitable, taking into account the work done by our reaaaly small team and the help from the community, which was virtually nonexistent. But let's focus on the good things, shall we. The path is finally clear in front of us, not only because of the incoming alt season but mainly because we have finally made our way through these murky waters, taking some very important decisions in the last months or so, which will lead us to our initial goal: to finally turn the game around in the GameFi space with a platform designed for superb user experience and easy development of complex DApps, which will definitely become obvious for everyone by the end of this month.

P.S. I'm pretty sure you're receiving CHI blocks because of how zpool manages neoscrypt-xaya mining; maybe the pools mine both ROD and CHI together, maxing the users' profit. Or there is some error on their side.. What surprises me most is that you knew this for two years and said nothing? ..just quietly observing and keeping it to yourself?

P.P.S. And yes, we have some ROD amounts locked for the next two years just to support our project. But unfortunately, for all of us, there are certain people who obviously still believe in SpaceXpanse and are mining rigorously for ROD coins. And by unfortunately, I mean that it's not us, the founders, because we're not that stupid to hurt our own project that way, I can assure you

Can't be the dev feel when zpool clearly shows the mined block and then pays me back the value of my % of the mined Xaya block in my coin of choice.
If it were a dev fee, it would not show in zpool as the mining IP address would have changed from zpool to the dev pool.

This thread has not been updated in over a year.  Their whitepaper/road map has not had any reflected changes in over a year. 
The dev on Discord keeps claiming they are still working on the coin but makes excuses about just even updating the progress on the roadmap.
The dev also goes inactive for few days at a time allowing bots onto the Discord.

SpaceXpanse peaked Dec 2023.  I do not see it returning to its ATH anytime soon. 
If the creator cannot be bothered to keep socials(except Twitter) up to date with information (there have actually been small improvements to the coin - just nothing on the roadmap), why should people bother to continue to invest their time and energy into this coin?

Also, who gets the XAYA blocks that are mined?  I watched my miners on this coin for the past two years - I noticed it swaps to a XAYA block every now and then. 
Who gets it?  It's not me.  Shady shady shady.

Thankfully, if you use zpool(and possibly others), you still get a payout on the Xaya blocks to whatever your chosen coin is.  That tells me that previous pools/solo mining does not pay out Xaya blocks to your ROD wallet.  So, where are they?

Finally, over 20% of the coin appears to be sitting in an exchange based on https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rod/#!rich with the dev locked blocks taking another 15% of the coin.

This coin has had 2 years to do something...  Do your own research; stay safe, folks.

Reasonable question! But if this quote below can't give you an answer, let me put it that way: we're not making this for the money, maybe not only because without money there's no progress . Actually it was really frustrating that the blockchain and technology behind it became investment tool rather than tool to help people and businesses deal with some day-to-day obstacles. Because of that we don't care that much about the ROD price but about ROD usability. We want the price to be controlled by real supply and demand and not by something else. That was the main reason to put some inflation in the game. And at last, we're not some  one day wonder project, we're here for the long run and you'll see it in time..

Also have to admit that made a honest mistake: the end of testing period will be 1st of July ~11:59PM. There's a slight difference. 😉
The market pairs are ROD/BTC, ROD/DOGE and ROD/USD.

Block reward going to 800 tomorrow means there's zero reason to mine it at a block reward of 1 today.

Why such a change? 800 is too high compared to the 8 previously listed. This diminishes the 'value' of the coin, making it easier to collect.
Then again, 4% pre-mine has already done that...

Hello again, here's the latest news..  Read below @everyone.

After some serious head scratching and testing, a decision was made: to make the block award equal to 800 ROD with halving every 1,054,080 blocks /~1 year/ for 5 years and then impose ~3% inflation on the supply of that exact moment until 59 years are passed and the supply reaches ~2.5 fold increment. But let me put this into some context to help you understand the reasons behind it:

The problem we're facing was to have enough supply of coins for steady development in the SpaceXpanse platform for the first few years of its existence. Not only the supply we'll need in the projects we have to develop but for any other in it. So our initial idea was to increment the divider COIN in the code /so called Satoshi/ to 10 instead of 8 but after serious backlash from the control group /our friends and colleagues/ we decided against it. If you're interested in the reasons: main, but only, was the confusion and eventual losses it will cause when just looking at the digits or buying ROD at an exchange e.g. 0.00000001 against 0.0000000001. So the only option left for us was to increase the award hundredfold to 800 ROD per block in the beginning. This way at the end of the 5th year and block award 50 ROD we will have 1,833,823,998 ROD. Then the 3% per year inflation will kick in and by applying the rule of 72 after ~59 years and we will end with ~4,615,066,365 ROD. But let's just say /for example / that we'll have 500,000,000 users in the SpaceXpanse platform then. This will give us a little bit more than 9 ROD per user which is clearly unsubstantial for smooth work of the system. So to avoid that and for some other reasons we're introducing bar as the smallest undividable part of ROD /instead of Satoshi/ and KBar and MBar as fellow members of the ROD family. Then we'll have some ~923,000,000 bars for everyone to deal with in the SpaceXpanse platform, which looks more than enough to grow some tycoons there. So to be clear: these changes are introduced because we want SpaceXpanse to have smooth growth in the years to come and to be fair and square with its users.

That was it! The new wallet passed the Regression and pre-release tests with flying colors so we'll introduce it to the public later today.. Stay tuned.

P.S. And for those who will ask why the premine was 199999998 ROD to start with, which will give us some gruesome advantage over everybody else, the answer is: we weren't unaware of before-mentioned problem, so if we've decided to stay with 8 ROD per block, we're ready to burn a substantial amount of the premine into oblivion to regain the balance.
P.P.S. The new wallet will be mandatory and it will refuse connections to the old one, if somebody's wondering about that. Also because everything with the blockchain's looking good enough, with the new wallet we're moving the end of pre-release/testing period closer - it will last till block 55560 which is ~ 1st of July ~12:00PM UTC. After that the award will be 800 ROD per block instead of 1 ROD.

On the other note: I stand corrected. It was a hell of a ride the last few days and it was long ago when I did it myself. So you have to raise stratum proxy to mine to the wallet. Will try to configure my friend's ASIC tomorrow maybe, to see if it's possible.. 😉

SHA256d is algorithm like any other but the problem is that GPUs can't compete with ASIC in a terms of hashing power. So you have to adjust your spacexpanse.conf file to accept calls from outside the computer you have your wallet running. Something like:

and change the IP mask with your network's one if different. Then you have to point the miner to tour computer's wallet address: 192.168.0.120:11999.
That's all.

We need a pool for SHA256d.

Quick hint: If you have any ASIC miners you're willing to spare, you can throw some hashing power against the wallet to test the second algo - SHA256d..
