I think it depends on whether or not the moderators intervened and assigned a new password

You better verify infos befor you say something it is very hard to recover account. There are topics where thiefs and victims write that this is my account and mods don't know what to do without clear evidence. Here is some way to recover your account https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/stake-your-bitcoin-address-here-996318
Next time verify your info or say nothing ,i told you first that here are many viruses and you act like a ignorant.Just like that why you care this is my pool i can support what i want even viruses.I told you to scan this wallets by yourself and you said i will wait for devs respond lol.You really believe that a thief will say ,yes sir i'm a thief. All in all stop been a ignorant and verify your info or not repeat false info like a parrot.

Someone cracked the trincax's profile and created this thread but not changed the password.
Probably forgot or wanted to use with he for some unknown reason.
He does not speak English, so he asked me to write.
He will try to contact the moderators to find out where was made access when they created this thread.

So it's good to know that the coin was legitimate and the original wallet was good but the account was hacked and some a****** posted a link to an infected Windows wallet

Not sure how true that is.  I read a post by trincaxt saying something that he is from Brazil and is not a dev.  Now that post is deleted.  Also, if his account was hacked, how did he get it back?  I would think the person that hacked it would've changed the password.  Something's fishy.

the account that created this thread was hacked.
This was not posted by the true owner of it.
I already asked him to delete the links

i am not sure if the moderators will act on a request like that. if so there is about 20 percent of the entire site that should be locked down and or deleted.

i would assume it would get rid of it . . but you cant quote me . . who knows what it installed, where it put what, what it added to your startup thats not a virus . . keyloggers dont show up as viruses, neither do RDP programs . . IMO you should reformat, wipe that drive.  someone suggested to me Dual boot with sandbox . .  firewall on incoming and outgoing. and just mine to an exchange . . F the wallet all together

I know making the primo cash is catching a new launch before it hits an exchange but that seems to involve alot of risk.  maybe dual boot windows . . .1 for mining and wallets, and one for gaming ans personal life
I used to mine directly to an exchange when I mined a lot, but I got screwed over by doing that when cryptsy disappeared. To be safe, I will probably boot into safe mode and copy all data to an external hard drive and reinstall windows and copy it back. Then going forward, I will probably keep my main wallets such as LTC on Ubuntu and maybe run a VM for other wallets.

Always use a VM or sandbox for new coins.
Otherwise just hold on an exchange/pool.
Wait a sec, would I be able to get rid of this going back to a previous restore point?

As far as I know, restore points only work in some cases.

Something to do with registry keys.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Okay, I won't be restoring to a previous restore point then. What about the refresh feature in Win 10 where it reinstalls but keeps your files? That should probably work, right?

dude, just wipe the computer and start fresh, only way to guarantee its gone.

Can a moderator delete the wallet links, or the whole ANN and lock this thread ?  were done here forever.

there are about 5 or 6 active Trojan wallets going around at the moment and its incredible how they are all doing the exact same thing . gosh isnt anyone able to be honest anymore?

Yeah because its the same idiot making all these new shit coins  . . . . the same idiot ordering them from walletbuilders . . . we know there all wallet builders coins ..  perhaps the connection is wallet builders them selves. . . if it isnt wallet builders, then wallet builders should step up and make a name for themselves and divulge who had ordered WOW, Shrek, Air, SOS, RIO, IBANK, FIRK . . . and the other 5+ i cant think of their name . . firexcoin, exit, enter......

Coolindark released a coolindark coin . . .. looks identical to the others . . . right down to how they set up GIT

same with Bitcoinpool.us . . there the first one in there with a pool for all these . .

Crypto world is a very small world . . . its the same group of people doing the same shady shit . . . I have been here for a year . . . I'm the first new coin from a UNIQUE new developer in a long time

Being in this world and seeing the shit go down . .. i havent seen this shit like the past 2 weeks ever . . . .When did it become a fuck everyone else in the ass free for all ?

unfortunately i have to agree , unfortunately because this is a very small world and the only people they are hurting are the ones that should be supporting them!
this is not by any means something new
but in the last few weeks it is very noticeable that it is being done with a righteous method to cover as much ground as possible.
they eat one time and then change name and do  it all over again.
i doubt it is from wallet builders but i agree that wallet builders should step up and clarify if it is on their tab!

Aw, shit I just ran it. After I saw that I shut my computer off. Is there any AV that can remove it? What can I do??

as soon as you run it its too late . . you may not think it did anything but the program is installed, logging keys . . sleeping .. waiting to be waken up by its owner when he comes, looks at your passwords, then decides how best to rape you

This guy used my computer to change the links in my ANN to his malicious wallets . .

thats dedication when you hack someone, change their wallet, recompile it then replace their mega links in their ANN with your malicious ones . . if only you spent this effort on a job buddy hacker . .

almost everything on my PC is "remember me" was simple for dickbag to go through my shit.
I understand that it's infected now, but is there an anti virus that can remove it? I won't log back on that PC until I can get rid of it, that way he won't be able to do anything malicious, right? I have a crapton of stuff on that computer and it would be a massive hassle to move all of my data, reinstall, and move it back so is there any other way to get rid of this shit?

AVG free is what picked it up on my system . . . stupid me seen the dev post that it was a clean wallet took his word for it . . told AVG to ignore . .

I took my harddrive and put it on a shelf.  Bought brand new.  Im going to install Ubuntu Linux and never look back at windows.  win 10 was defective and full of holes from day 1 !!!!

Do you think since AVG detected it that it would be able to remove it? Getting rid of the hard drive isn't necessary, a format would be enough. I would switch it to Ubuntu as well but that is my gaming rig and I kinda need Windows for that.

With your PC disconnected from the internet, you want to move everything off the hard drive and then reformat.
Always use on screen keyboard when logging into wallets, it will help prevent key loggers accessing you shit easily. Even if they're taking SS of your activity.

I wouldn't trust a program to fully remove a Trojan once it's installed. Reformatting is your only option imo.

Here is the Bitcoin address the hacker has been using for years (lots of transactions)  Im sure that they sent or received bitcoin to or from a major exchange. . . Im in the process of working with a few exchanges to look through log files and find some transactions for this address.  there has to be at least 1 somewhere to tie this fuck bag to an account and get some real info.

there has been 18 BTC go through this wallet in a couple years . . . no way its all flew under the radar. . .

GPU Coin Dev
This is the same DEV who made Ibank . . its a shitcoin full of viruses . . people who download either wallet are getting hacked left right and center.

looks like its a trojan horse . . back door, grants the hacker RDP connection silently . . keylogs your info, then they use your computer when your asleep or away from it and drain your wallets and any go to any exchange you have auto login for. . .

some of the most lame coins in the past have turned out to be the most profitable for me.

1 coin per block and block time is averaging 42 seconds. I'm going to create a pool for this coin.

clean wallet and nice job on source code....

Really bad signs from the first look through the ANN.

1. Shit grammar
2. Shit ANN - absolutely no effort went into this posting
3. Wallets not working ?? - Im not even wasting my time downloading it but seriously, test your damn software before you scam please.
4. Nothing new to attract a community aside from 500% POS and X11 - Just enough to find a few suckers to dump on.
5. Devs are anon.
6. Their slogan is Trumps campaign slogan.... scum

edit to add 6.

Bets on how quick this gets abandoned?
