Great work everyone indeed!

Does it take only from polonex, or also from Dex?

I did some rework on the existing logo. Added some depth and dark colors.

This could be a temporary logo waiting for an official one by Matt Y buddy.

Hi def HERE

Wow - awesome!
Can / should we add the circle (the coin theme)?

I  think I screwed up big time.

I have 3k XCP in an electrum address. Seems like the Electrum client isn't compatible with counterparty.

I dont know what i was thinking when i bought the coins and asked to have them sent to that address.

Is there anyway to retrieve the coins?

Get the private key for the address containing the xcp from electrum and import it into the reference client.

Thank you for addressing my concern, also excuse my ignorance in this matter.

Is this a sure solution? It definetly makes sense.

Thanks alot

Yes, as long as you control the private keys, you control the XCP (or Bitcoins for that matter).

Much appreciated!

Thanks for the reassurance Smiley

Have we decided on a logo yet?

Believe most are a fan of one of these

I beg to differ.

This is not professionnal looking, and IMHO not balanced. I prefer the one on the top left here (with other colors) http://www.reddit.com/r/xcp

Missed that one - Reddit logo with left (clear) logo colors combined will be great.

Well done guys on getting it on an exchange.
do we know how safe poloniex is?

At least we can get xcp on coinmarketcap now
I have been using Poloniex, and it seems to be working well.
Note: XCP deposits take 1 to 1.5 hours, due to confirmation time.

poloniex has google authenticator 2FA and so far I havent had any problems. Tristan has got a nice selection of new altcoins there

However, last I checked, poloniex has yet to implement the API coinmarketcap needs.

No rush, better to wait until web client is available

What do they need? Poloniex has public API methods: poloniex.com/api
Not sure exactly, I think volume info.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/coinmarketcapcom-market-cap-rankings-of-all-cryptocurrencies-199685 is their thread, I think they actively respond to queries. All of your coins would automatically qualify for coinmarketcap once you get the API they need

Thanks for the great work!!

In less than a day over 10 BTC traded at about an average of .008 BTC per XCP. This is significantly higher than the forum person to person trades and even higher than Dex trades.

The volume on Poloniex is pretty good for only ~6 hours worth of trading.

The criteria for a coin to be added on http://coinmarketcap.com

Code:
Criteria for a coin to be added:
Must be a cryptocurrency
Must be traded on a public exchange that is older than 30 days and with an API available.
Must have a public URL that displays the total supply (total mined so far).

We can go to https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/btc_xcp  for exchange now.
Also we can still use DEX(Decentralized Exchange) for XCP exchange. The XCP DEX price refer to:http://blockscan.com/

More like counterparty time.
