I have gotten tips but they have been for helping people out on here.
So far .035 total.
Every little bit helps now too.  I am going to have a 3rd spinal surgery in a few weeks.

A lot of people (OP included  Smiley) on this forum have a signature with a btc or altcoin address in it.

How many of you did actually receive a donation to this address from a stranger?
How much did they send?

As for myself, I have unfortunately not received a small amount of btc yet.
You are always welcome to change this  Tongue

Almost nobody donates Tongue
Why would they? I don't think that people are being generous on internet

I have never been tipped or seen any one be claimed to be randomly tipped I'm sure the only ones who get tpped are Bitcon core devs and the staff of this forum and some others possibly for helping others.

I've gotten several, some I know who from, some I don't. Not the current address in my sig, I change it regularly.

Cool Smiley
I bet those donations came from people fearing your moderation powers  Wink

I had an address in my sig for a very short time, and obviously never received anything. Most people who do get about a Satoshi's worth from an advertising bot or some forumgoer who thinks 0.0000001 BTC is an acceptable "tip" for service rendered or information provided. Anticipating a miracle from your forum signature isn't worth the disappointment  Tongue

To get anything substantial from your sig would probably require that you be one of the ultra-trusted, super-rich, early-adopter core type of forum member. Someone who can escrow 50 BTC without batting an eye, or program a new type of wallet for kicks.

TL;DR version -

Most of us don't get anything and never will.  Grin
