You know, you only really need verification if you're a high-volume trader, and currently, if I'm not mistaken, this is above 5BTC total trading volume. If you're handling that much trading on LBC, I'd really recommend getting an actual SMS verification so you don't come back crying when someone lodges a dispute saying you didn't or weren't able to use the same number to verify yourself.

I know, I know. Privacy. But if that's really important to you as a trader, rather than as a user, move to something else like BISQ. Mind you, people no longer want to trade with unverified accounts, I know I don't.

I wish CoinVisits would share what his business is lol. Maybe he's really an employee of Lazersms trying to look like an innocent user of the forum looking for another SMS verification service. But what he's really doing is getting the "Lazersms" name more known lol.

Least most of us see this for what it is.

Any website for SMS verification apart from Lazersms? I already use their US and UK numbers but I'd prefer some mainland European ones

If like them they accept Bitcoin that would be a plus
Why would you want to do anonymous SMS verification for an exchange which involves trades and mobile number is used as a n entity to represent trust ? It simply means you don't want to be tracked after the scam shit you'd pull off with the other traders.Sigh...

I don't see any other use-case for verifying an SMS anonymously.Correct me otherwise.
Yes I am also never see any exchanges asking for SMS verification because it is just apoor security the messages can be tracked and diverted if someone knows that you hold lot of crypto currency. But most of the exchanges now implemened 2FA for withdrawals including LBC.

Many people and sites can provide this service, but the problem is that you will not be able to access that number."Central Services"
The third party can give you an activation code, but you need to trust it/him which is considered dangerous.
I do not see any need for such a risk, especially that deals using that site go through the financial system."Unless you pay Cash and want to scam others."

so I see since May they changed some stuff, they decreased the numbers of countries too but now it looks like their numbers are better. I checked and their US number worked for ebay and whatsapp and I managed to verify localbitcoins with a British one as well

Why do you want to use Anonymous Sms verification ? I don't see any point in it unless you want to perform a scam or use any illegal ways to gain money.Any legit localbitcoins user would not hesitate to verify his own number.
