I have done a trade with Skrill and it worked well. The workflow and User experience was actually quite nice...will do more trades I believe.

I noticed you changed the company to a UK entity from a Cayman Island company just within the last 48h.
Are you based in the UK now or how do we have to understand that change?

Indeed, the operating business is incorporated in the United Kingdom with staff in London (UK), Zurich (Switzerland) and Capetown (South Africa)
The Cayman Island company is no longer active

I like the design of your website, for me in UI is very good, it's just that the font you use is not good enough in my opinion, rather impressed abstract. Maybe promotion will help build a community on your website so that you can compete with the same market. I haven't explored the features and tried it yet, so for UX I can't give my opinion.

yeah the font thing we get a lot. its a easy thing to change and we are looking into it.
Regarding community: we are as we speak planning the main marketing plan and it will be quite extensive and over a longer period of time.
This however, does not include the community reach out and we are very keen to work with people directly. Vertex is a platform for the crypto community meaning we want to do it how the community wants it. As a CEO i just make sure its taken care of in the right way.

Also converting non cryptousers into cryptousers is a goal that we pursue and the community can help vertex, to achieve this

Converting non-crypto users should be a major focus for all trading platforms. It is their job to drive more economic activity in crypto and very important that we the big companies fit this into their marketing plan.

After local bitcoins forced kyc i have been waiting for something to take their place, but building a reputation in a new site like this take time, and i'll wait until there are some trusted parties to trade with. But there's something i have been thinking about; if there are known scams selling their coins p2p and i don't know about it but just buy them, would the regulated exchanges freeze my account if i try to trade those flagged coins without knowing they are stolen funds?

Hi, i am the CEO of Vertex Capital and Vertex Market. this is indeed a good point.
We are every day implementing new mechanism to make peer to peer trading more secure. A way to not have scammed coins on the platform traded, is indeed something I will personally look into.

Important is that we believe to achieve security by technology and not a rating of a user. so many LBC accounts are bought. you cannot trust a rating at all so a platform should not rely on it. hack, we trusted Lehman Brothers once ;-)

If you bought the coins, you did nothing wrong. The person with the scammed coins will be in trouble if they are caught, not you. How would they verify that tokens are stolen?

its working in my end... try to access again, maybe its on maintenance when you access the site.

It must be his connection. I have never seen this message while on the site.
Thanks, I am able to get in now

But i think the word anonymous is being misused and a bit misleading here. On seeing "anonymous" on the title, i thought i was going to see a P2P trading platform like bisq. When someone has to sign up and even submit their KYC details then that person ceases to be anonymous IMO.

Well you could create a dumbie email and use that. There is no KYC needed and that is definitely anonymous.

Hi yes, the platform is legit. It states that it is available in over 200 countries and they have 7 available languagues.

how can it be available in "over 200" countries when we only have 195 countries in the world?![1]
also how is it anonymous and peer to peer and supposedly (based on this comment) it is not available in "some" countries? it needs to be available everywhere if it truly is p2p!

[1] https://www.worldometers.info/geography/how-many-countries-are-there-in-the-world/

The United Nations recognize 241 countries and territories, due to the fact that we cannot accomadate for every regulation in every country and territory, we cannot market ourselves as providing absolute global availability, although technically we could support it.

didn't create an account but i see not just bitcoin is allowed to sell there. i could sell my altcoins there but i'd just wait for now til i see your platform becomes popular. there are bugs to be fixed like the ones mentioned above, it needs to be promoted and if later people start trusting if even when it claimed to have been available to 200 countries while there are only 195, i'd likely join still.

How would you recommend the promotion to go? Influencer and paid search campaigns?

I will add from myself that when I click the button to translate the site into my native language nothing happens at all. Some template text about the selected country is displayed in the header of the site. In fact, on all other normal sites, this button at the top right is designed to translate the site into the selected language. Overall, the site is nice and fast, but every detail is important, so I would advise you to hire translators and translate the site, at least into the main languages.

What language is your native? Your English seems great lol

I can always agree about bitcoin to the end,,, and I can always agree to have more and more DEXs, especially when it comes to P2P which is the whole ideal around Bitcoin.

But if we are already using something else that also does not need KYC, why should we switch to Vertex? Pooya, by the way, for sure we have more than 200 countries in the world. Depending on which measuring organization you use;)

Hi all, first of all I would like to make a full disclaimer before continuing with the post and that is that I work for the company mentioned and I am doing this to get feedback from the most experienced community in Bitcoin - which is users on BitcoinTalk.

Vertex.Market is a peer to peer trading platform similar to the likes of Local Bitcoins and Paxful, however we are in total belief that our product offers users a lot more utility and functionality. We offer far more trading pairs and accept major cryptos like BCH, ETH, LTC & XLM, we have more payment options and a variety of unique features. On Vertex for example, we do not require users to chat with each other, thus reducing the time required to execute your trades.

What we need is community feedback to get an idea of what you like and what you dislike about the platform so we can really start building the best possible product for peer to peer trading.

You can visit the site here: https://vertex.market/

For daily volume up to 1k USD per day, no KYC is required. If you have questions, we are available 24/7 for any help required.

Thank you and Bitcoin till the end!

Interesting. So with the no chat function, everything is handled via escrow correct? Chat can be useful sometimes if there is an issue with transfers. Does your support team contact traders if they send too much or too little? This has happened to me before and the chat function helped me resolve the issues.

I saw this exchange yesterday but I wasn't sure if it was a genuine.
Is it available in all countries? I think I like that you can trade peer-to-peer on the exchange without needing to chat with buyers or sellers. The chatting thing can be time wasting sometimes, though it's necessary.
Is it a decentralized exchange? Is available mobile app? You should try to make the site usable on light browsers.

Hi yes, the platform is legit. Trading is currently available in 200 countries and we have 7 available languagues.

We do not have a mobile app but on mobile it is very responsive. It is not decentralized, but a hybrid platform which has decentralized and centralized elements.

I've made an account, and here are some things I think you should look into...

UI/UX:

- Implement a dark theme.
- Not sure if it's the font or just its size, but that should be changed. I find it hard to read compared to other sites.
- If you want to support multiple languages, don't use Google translator or similar software, hire real translators.
- In the buy/sell pages, If you write something to search for, and hit {Enter} nothing happens, implement that.
- TrustLock backlink should be placed in the footer.
- Use this kind of alerts to remind users to verify their email and phone numbers, not pop-ups.

Features/bugs:

- In the header's search page, If you don't choose anything from the AutoComplete/suggested list and click the search button, it will result in this (endless loop).
- My wallets are not showing.
- Give the user the ability to change the currency, don't enforce it based on the location. I'm not from the U.S but I would like to see the prices in USD.
- Add the ability to trade cash in-person to your payment methods (LBC removed that).

Thanks for the message. Much appreciated. We are working on a couple of new features which we think you will like! Many of the suggestions you have mentioned are either planned for our next release or are currently in development.

In terms of wallets, you should be able to click on the wallet and you will be able to enter your own address or use one that was created for you.  You can create an address in the "My deposits" section.
