See I have done a lot of research about this but I have not come across any game in years that gives us profit without investing money.  But in a few years it may come. Besides, there are other games that give money by investing money. I am talking about the things that are ruining our society today due to which even small children are playing with such passion and earning money.

When you find such a gem - don't forget to create a thread about it and your success.
I don't think there is a gain without the investment at hand.

I have the same perspective as yours when it comes to memecoin although I don't hate them. It's like I feel nothing only, there's no excitement to learning them because there's really nothing behind it all.
I have never heard of that memecoin carnival but like you said, if it's free, then why not? The only trouble that I see is if these meme coins will try to make you subscribe, follow, or do something in exchange for an airdrop. That might eat some of your time and effort and it could go to waste if you will have a dust coin with not much value at all.
It's all up to you. Even though I heard what you said, I am still too lazy to see what will happen at that event. As I said, it doesn't bring energy to some people and I am one of them.

95% of memes and T2E games are a waste.
Others - may give something to you, but only on a smaller scale, unfortunately.
Usually, it's a gamble on what community we are talking about and how they view their meme at least after a week of the launch.

Lately, I keep seeing these “memecoin carnival” events popping up all over Twitter. It seems like everyone’s hosting some sort of giveaway, and a friend of mine keeps asking if I’ve tried getting in on one yet.

I’ll be honest, I’m skeptical. I’m not anti-memecoin, but I also don’t think most of them have any real staying power. For every success story, there’s a long list of projects that just faded out as fast as they arrived. Personally, I’d rather get some exposure for free through these events if I’m going to get in at all, rather than putting any serious cash into something with “meme” in the name.

Curious if anyone here has actually made anything from these giveaways or if it’s usually more smoke than substance.

Well, you'll not be wrong to feel skeptical about memecoins and the long list of those projects that faded out as fast as they arrived. But looking at the list of Memecoins announced by Bitget for their carnival for instance; DOGE, PEPE, WIF, SHIB etc are all successful and established memecoins and participants in the carnival are simply expected to trade some of this and stand chances of earning a share of the price pool. Not sure this is a task to fret! Just feeling it's worth the show

Well I am not investing in any of these new meme coins really that we are now seeing. All the time there is a new meme token alot of them are on the Solanan blockchain.
In this days there is alot of celebrities and famous people that is so fast to market a new meme coin. And there is alot of 'rug pulls' that is happening. I think it is too much of a risk for us to invest in the new ones.
If we want to make profit from meme coins we should hodl Doge coin And Shib. Any of the other news meme coins is too much risk I do think.
too many considerations to enter a new meme coin, and seen from the movement in the market it is better to see its development first, it is much more important, because everything needs assessment, doge and shib coins now many people believe in it and have a large market value with many who believe in it to be in it.

as far as I know, the memecoin giveaways that are profitable enough are the ones in telegram such as dogs, cats and some other, they require to finish up some tasks but they also don't require you to buy their things which is a fair game.
basically it's just freebies with extra steps.

as the ones going around in the twitter? I don't think they're even legit, most are just plain scam coin, be careful because you might get hacked and got your money stolen.

so if you really want to join the meme coin train without spending money and just simply trying to profit off the giveaways it's gonna be rough. 99% are scams.

And then again - there are lots of rugs on TON too, with some not allowing you to get the drop unless you donate something upfront.
When it's done like that - it's definitely a scam and a bad practice.

It can be done only with the money you are willing to spend.
Otherwise - it would be a waste and a gamble with big losses  Grin

Obviously they are just there to create some attention towards themselves, and it will not be good situation at all. We need to realize that we are not going to get a good result all that easily, and things will not be all that simple neither. We need to realize that we are talking about situation that is taking a while, and because of this we can't get a great result on the long term.

I believe that the best thing to do right now would be just focusing on what we can get ,and if we can make that work with the way these people are distributing money for attention, then we could technically just assume that we will make money from them. It is not easy, it requires a lot of effort, but it can be turned into profit if you spend some time on them.
The reality is that creating attention is the most important product of our age, if you can get enough attention then you are going to make some good money with it.

All of those influencers literally feed off your attention for example, the more you watch them, the more they will earn and that is why they say the most insane things to make you mad, so that you would either hate them or love them but somehow have a feeling or emotion towards them. Trolling is now profitable, and of course others do other stuff, there are funny influencers, there are sports/gym influencers, there are travel ones, like there are a million of those and all of those people make money based on the attention that they get from you.

I’m not sure if anything being pumped or advertised on Twitter is a good buy. I mean, it’s possible you could see one pop up & invest in it, then do really well with but but I think those kind of coins are liable to end up scams or pump & dumps. You can make lots of money in memecoins but far more likely you do so by doing your own research & picking a few winners yourself.

Maybe they follow the state of meme coins on the market, but don't really care and just watch the developments without entering, because it is difficult to predict the conditions that occur for some people, it all takes a long process, unlike those who have followed altcoins and understand them, they will always follow the latest developments, but it all depends on their respective opinions.

Hahaha... meme coins can indeed frustrate you and they are misleading but the results have been mixed. Some wasted their time with the airdrops but gained from the presales and listings, while some wasted their time on the airdrops and still gained ridiculously low on presales and listings, but some gained handsomely for their airdrop participation, presales and listings.

You can see it all depends on the project and your luck. I tell you, no one knows how most of those meme coins would perform until they did it, even the ones people thought were the worst ones performed well and those ones people thought were the best pefromed woefully. This is beyond DYOR but risk-taking and being lucky. A large community doesn't even mean large success anymore.

just want to give heads up that most of these memes that give away coins for free in the name of "carnival" or whatever it is are just plain valueless shitcoin.

the developers are just trying to grab attention to attract liquidity to the market, they probably also hold big chunk of total supply in their wallet and some even going as far as modifying the ERC20 contract code that allows them to spend these coin despite looking like it's owned by some other addresses.

overall, nothing good comes out of these meme coin giveaway, too much scam and trickery that it's not worth it anymore.

you get better odd at speculating some random meme coin that actually have the hype compared to just trying to get freebies like these.

The concept of a project holding a giveaway is not much different from airdrop because in essence it is a random selection to get coins for free. If what is given is a meme coin, then it is not a guarantee that its value depends on the allocation and value you get. Honestly, joining a giveaway is just a waste of time because you will be competing with bots that are ready with thousands of accounts to attack, believe me it will not produce anything.

There are for sure but not me. If I've earned from these memecoin events, there's a very little amount of money that I've earned from it. To be honest, what you've said is right about most of the memecoins. Whether they run an event or not, there are for sure investors that will take time to invest into them because of the thinking that they might earn such money from it. The earlier, the better, that's what they're saying and that's how it is going to take them more into investing with memecoins.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number

In the past, I often participated in events like that, the more I tried, the greater my winning chances, but the reality is different, I never won Cheesy. Unlike my friend, until today h'is still consistent in following events created on Twitter, and at times he won them. So, from my friend's story, we can conclude that it's all real, he managed to get something out of it, not just smoke.

This is just it. What I noticed about them is that some will be scam as the project developer of the meme coin perfectly do an exit scam. Those that made it into the market will get pumped and later dumped. They will become old and be left for new coins instead. This will make their prices to remind low. People only gamble with such coins.
