I'm not really a fan with the use of those mobile wallets and I still want to prefer the use of the PC wallet like the electrum because today there are a lot of phishing wallets right now and it is quite hard to trust them and one of the best things is to use other secured and well-known wallet as an investor and all of your hard work are you willing to use a platform you does not well and not secured of course. No. So better to use which is already gained reputation and high security.

its is much easier to use mobile wallet that's why many people prefered using it and they can send money when ever they are as long the phone is in her hand he can spend that crypto he have and send to other users .

For choosing wallet I think the better things you need to know is to check  how many people use the wallet before downloading it. fake wallet will only have less than 100  to one  thousand downloads so its  easy to know that is fake.if you will just look for it first , before downloading  .

Even though there are some trading websites that offers the use of mobile application for trading, I'd rather stick from using PC for a more accurate and complete trading view. Stick with using exchange websites rather than mobile application for safety and accuracy.

Anyhow, just flagged the application as inappropriate.
That could help a lot reporting the app as inappropriate. Giving also a comment on the app rating with zero stars might be also a good idea to add with. Clearly the apps was being made to skim important details of crypto wallet. It will be easy access to the wallet and transfer coins. It would not be good in a part where crypto being earn or bought just being stolen by others.

I think scam were getting worst. It is very rampant and I hate to see them doing it. Hopefully there will be done something that could minimize their activities.

Agree even though there are some applications in the android play store or google play store that is available I don't usually use it and just stick in the PC version because basically it is more secured.

Sometimes you are not even sure if the android application is legitimate like this one, it is easy accessing websites in your browser, and also it may not work well when you open it in an android phone since it may not be optimized.

I have seen many of this apps on google play before, but most are often removed, but many people would have been scammed. Only one advice in this case is easy, and it is to download apps from official websites. Even, the websites can still refer you to app store but it will be the legit one not fake.
Websites can be compromised to show the false app. This is Google's fault for letting any app (and ad...) on the Play Store without proper analysis beforehand.. I used to heavily critique Apple for being so harsh but in these cases, it's way better to be that way as a software publishing platform.

I agree with @Maus0728, sticking with the web version is what I recommend as well. Also eliminates part of the privacy-stripping permissions apps usually request upon install.

Very true, not all google apps are legit. Somehow they can pass the google play verification. Sometimes they will only act when there are number of users that were being rekt by the app and the complaints are growing. So before installing any wallet app in your phone, better confirm its legitimacy or better stick to their official websites to lessen the possibility of losing your funds.

Recently, we have seen fake Idex apps, [SCAM] IDEX Market Google Store. And as I was checking for the links, I discover this one. Very similar to the one first reported.

Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idex.idex&hl=en

This is obvious fake, kindly report this this to Google store service.
