I still keep the BCH. But the price is getting lower. It is quite worrying.

why is it worrying? it cost you nothing. if it goes to nothing then life is gonna continue. i don't think it'll be permitted to go nothing. there's a few extremely deep pockets with a vested interest in keeping it alive.

I stopped worry. The price is rising. I might convert some more bitcoin into Bitcoin Cash. But not very sure.

Should be the other way around. Dump your Bitcoin Cash for Bitcoin. You may never know when is the next dump of Bitcoin Cash and you might be trap inside and the only way to get out is to suffer a lost. While you still have the time then I advise you to get out. Well its worrying because just like any other altcoins, Bitcoin cash and for pump and dump purposes only. Just a few weeks ago we already see how they pump it so hard to reach more than $2000 then immediately dump and take the profit. Those deep pockets that is keeping it again is the same people that is trying to manipulate the price to their advantage.

I guess in the next five years bitcoin will be the most popular cryptocurrency that really helps many people in their living. In the next five years, I think it will be more useful because right now, bitcoins price really continue on increasing and it can help many people on their daily needs. I really adore because eventhough not all people knows this but it can still help because if there is a people who is a kind hearted that willing to help other people who doesn't know this, It is just like bitcoin helps them.

I think dumping is not an option these days because we all know that bitcoin is largely used by many user and its price rise day by day, BCC has its potential to be big in the near future, so im holding them both as i dont want profit to slip away from my hands.

I'm just making this poll out of curiosity, as I myself am honestly confused on what to do.  I see BCC as free money so I think there's nothing to be done about it really except keep it for a rainy day?

I would like to hear your thoughts on what you plan to dump and why.

Of course I'm expecting most of you to dump BCC, but are there any reasons behind it, be it technical or philosophical?
There is not damage in keeping it if that is what you want, there is a possibility that bitcoin cash disappears relatively soon but if it does not then you can hold and like any coin you could earn some profits by holding long term, what it happens is BCH has many people against it because they see BCH as an attempt from the miners to impose their view on bitcoin.

I dont like dumping bitcoin or bitcoin class because I have both that coin. And i think if bitcoin become sucessful and the bitcoin cash for sure becoem succeesful too . Because bitcoin cash is the son of bitcoin for me.

Nah, bitcoin cash is just a trying hard coin trying to steal the limelight to bitcoin, like an airdrop coin though.
I dump mine when the price is good enough for me and buy some promising coin. I really dont like the idea of bcc and soon bcc price will dump as bcc is just manipulated by some big whales.

I agree, that's why I've already dumped most of my BCC. NOt all, because it would be fun to see it pumped to something like 0.5 BTC, even if just for a little while.
As far as dumping goes I think most people who really wanted to dump it did that in the first week and its price has reflected this mood by going down to like 0.05 BTC. Now, even if some of the holders decide to get rid of their BCC it's not going to dive so much.

It is not bitcoin class it is bitcoin cash first of all correct this because it is meaning less comment so I would like to say first of all thing what are you writing. You should need to preview your posts as well that you have mentioned a right comment or wrong. As you talking about dumping and pumping then it will be always pumping not even goes to dumping.
BCC is the part of bitcoin. We cannot say that it is like other because bitcoin having worth like that bitcoin cash having worth as well so i would like to say that we should go for BCC instead other crypto currencies if we are not able to purchase bitcoin now a days because as bitcoin reached to $2800 like that after some years BCC will reach to that point.

I am not planing on dumping BCC anymore.
Why?

Cuz I already moved all to BTC and don't know how I timed this but for the first time in months I nailed both the exchange and the hour.
Looking back in terms of $ I'm already 12% better than if I would have clingd to altcash.

If I understand the investment  game very well, BCH can be good investment haven in the near future, for that reason it got value
BCH is the best and good investment as you said because it is the new one in market and people are coming to buy. Bitcoin exchanges are also upgrading the system to high level which will accept BCH. So i would like to say that yes you are right because BCH is best way to earn a lot of money in the future as it is shows the chart of bitcoin in a market.

I look at the price and I only see people selling it.
BCH had his moment of glory and then we know all how it's going to end.
Auroracoin is probably the best analogy. Also , call me when somebody is actually using BCH to buy something.
Bitcoin cash seems to be doing fine at the moment the price is very high and now is in the third position in market cap, to be honest I’m not quite sure why this is the case since no one is using bitcoin cash, but if people want to give me free money then who I’m to discourage them.

I personally still hold BCC obtained for free, I do not care about the small or high price. I'm still curious about the future of this coin, if in the future this coin will have a high price I will be happy because I still hold it, until now I still no intention to dumping that coin.
This is what I’m doing as well, bitcoin cash is nothing but a clone but if traders and speculators would like to keep the coin alive then who I’m to discourage them, I will just follow the same formula that I follow with bitcoin hold until I get to my target price

I'm holding both. Who is buying? most likely somebody a fuck of a lot richer than you, and he ain't in this to take a loss.

I am also holding both. I have been lurking the BitcoinCash community and there are rumors that the "unknown miner" is someone who was from the Hong Kong Agreement and that he plans to make BCC much more than it is right now.

Another name that was cited was John McAfee.

Lots of small-time supporters are holding and buying too. Check out https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/ which is where they all hang out. They are determined to make it a success.

BCH got an added advantage of huge popularity because of splitting off from Bitcoin and free allocation of coins leads to a wider market. A coin can only have afuture if it is backed by an excellent project or is marketed properly. BCH got the latter advantage. Nobody cares what that coin is based upon. Thus, investors will not let it die soon and would keep on investing in it.

I have not dumped Bitcoin cash either but not because I believe in the project I just cannot bother to do it since it seems to complicated but I am going to take a chance, since there is the possibility that bitcoin cash becomes something like Ethereum classic.

I'm not sure about the above information, but it has chance to evade the bitcoin community in such a manner. On the day of splitting bitcoin cash gained more support than the bitcoin. This is all because of the growth rate was found high on bitcoin cash by that day. Soon within few days time the price started to decrease gradually.

Probably, but being more richer does not make you right, also no one that begins to trade, trades with the intention of losing, everyone is trading because they are trying to win money and yet more than 90% of the traders lose most of their money when they trade.

The reasons for dumping bcc are simple, the coin is not going to last for a long time, why should I waste what it is essentially free money, so my reasons for dumping bcc are not philosophical or even technical, my reasons are practical and economical.

Yes just being practical here also. Soon I'll dump mine because I dont like bch in my portfolio, I sell it now while the price os being hype and of course before the price will become too low as many will dump also.
Lets dump it all as for sure that btc price will be more higher.

Also make sure you use the obtained "free money" from selling those BCH / BCC for buying more BTC Grin
That BCH seems to refuse to die already, a few days ago was in 200 having lost more than half of its value and now it sits at 337, I wonder who is buying this coin to make it go up, the only ones that I can imagine doing that are traders and speculators.

Well but remember before selling Bitcoin Cash you should use incaditor for analysic mentality of trader for check the price oversold threshold or not?
Example: In first time after Bitcoin Cash listed on Bittrex exchange, it has dumped to @300k sat, the person sell with this price will very regret because they not know sold all their coin with cheapest price Smiley

I will make sure to dump all the BCC I get as fast as I can.

we have all seen what happens to altcoins with similar approach. when they give free altcoins to bitcoin holders, they just dump those coins and price always goes down. and it continues to go down as more people start claiming their coins and dumping them.

and to this day there has been no exception, even for good altcoins like Byteball.

If you want to dump your BCC and not have BCC in the exchange, you will be very slow in moving your BCC to exchanges as the hash rate is too low.

I eventually did some kind of half and half strategy.
I've deposited about half my bitcoin amount on exchanges before the fork to receive the BCC airdrop automatically and I have already sold that on top of the price and have the bitcoin ready to be withdrawn back to my cold storage again.

the next half I am still holding and trying to find the best and easiest way to transfer it to exchanges as soon as they open up deposits. the first step is over meaning transferring bitcoin from my keys to new keys on bitcoin. but the second step of sweeping the old keys in BCC is not.

Which exchange did you use? What was the price of BCC?

I have accounts on many different exchanges and most of them did credit my BCC tokens.
first one was Yobit which I sold around 0.18BTC
the other was Novaexchange which I sold around 0.3BTC
the next was on Cryptopia which I sold around 0.15BTC

all of the above were small amounts I keep in each exchange to play around.

the main thing was in bittrex which I have been selling. sold some around 0.175-0.18BTC and bought back in the dip around 0.14-0.15BTC and already have my sell orders placed. I'll probably continue playing there for more profit until their deposits open then I'll sell before the deposits start and sell pressure increases.

A few answers are for dumping BTC  Shocked
I'm quite new in this, so not a great opinion about all this. What I see is that till the time i'll get access to BCC they may be so cheap it won't be worth selling them. So I may keep it to see if price rises again.

you should be able to access it now if you have your private keys. viabtc accepts deposits but you're gonna have to wait a while.

i just dumped 0.2 on there as an experiment after sending it from my wallet. looks like you have to wait for several confirmations bch before they let you take any btc you buy off there.

could be a long night.

Many treat Bitcoin Cash as an alt, and BCH (BCC) as airdropped but I don't see it so simple. It is a fork therefore with 2 branches, the bitcoin cash coins were not airdropped, you bought or mined them when bitcoin was only one, and yet now they feature on two blockchains! Branch A could be thought of as Segwit coin and Branch B as big block coin. Both differ from original bitcoin but branch A differs the most even though people think of that as the 'real' bitcoin. The main thing branch A has going for it is perception that it is the real bitcoin through retaining the name and ticker symbol.

I'll HODL my bitcoin for now (both types) and await how it develops with interest.

It seems that all these actions can be regarded as some kind of manipulation or something like that. There are already a lot of people in the puddle and their money in Bitcoin and there are already some problems starting here. Could this all be planned?

A few answers are for dumping BTC  Shocked
I'm quite new in this, so not a great opinion about all this. What I see is that till the time i'll get access to BCC they may be so cheap it won't be worth selling them. So I may keep it to see if price rises again.

I see BCC as free money so I think there's nothing to be done about it really except keep it for a rainy day?

It is a free money that we can acquire easily and just dump it after the split + free profit.

I would like to hear your thoughts on what you plan to dump and why.

I would plan to dump BCC immediately and will go to make my bitcoin safe.

Of course I'm expecting most of you to dump BCC, but are there any reasons behind it, be it technical or philosophical?

I won't say that expect the unexpected but BCC is expected to be dumped for real.

I think bcc will be dumped more than bitcoin. And people may regret it. I just have very small amount of btc so I don't really care about dumping. But it is exciting to watch.

Yea people seem to be forgetting Jihan has hundreds of millions of dollars worth in both fiat and btc that he will use to basically guarantee BCC will be a big success and be considered the big successor to bitcoin within 6 to 12 months.

I'll probably dump most of my BCC for BTC, but I'm afraid that by the time I can access them the race to the bottom will already have started. So I guess I'll dump some as soon as possible (or on the first bounce), keep some for possible future pumps (because even small alts get pumper love) and a small amount I'll probably hodl long term, just in case. In all cases I'll only sell for BTC, selling for fiat is too risky even with BCC.

May the fastest man to dump win. I'm ready now to dump my BCC as soon as it appears on my. I hope that I can still sold mine while it has a value. This will be a hunger games on dumping it and I can't wait to see it.  Grin
Have more trader like your idea, the panic selling of Bitcoin Cash can't avoid after distribuite. But how much the price dip lowest? This is difficult question and we don't know the time this coin bounce again by whales Smiley
Well it has started already on exchanges as the people who received their coins already have been dumping them.

Last price I saw was at 0.200btc per coin and dropping as the dumping spree has began! Grin

The question is also how high the bounce will be. I mean, a large amount of people are planning to dump and all of them know that everyone else is going to dump. What if the BCC price turns out to be more resistant than expected? Will the tide turn into a buying frenzy? Or will BCC just take a heavy beating and stay down like a rock until a few weeks or months later some decides to pump?

Let's just see if what BCC can really do, even if it is given for free, maybe there is a significant in giving it or just free, or a sample, let's just say that they are planning in giving you opportunity in handling you free gift checks that will eventually gonna have a big roll in the upcoming event, let's just say if you don't dump BCC and get's hold over it, maybe it will make the price of it goes up, well I am not saying this that it will actually happen, but they are not gonna give it with no purpose right. and they are giving it free just like what you get on a free samples.

None and I'm not dumping any of these coins because if there would be split and BCC is given for free then I wouldn't be losing anything if it was for free. And of course why would I dump BTC, I'm in fact saving a couple of BTC so there is no reason for me to dump both of them.

I'm just making this poll out of curiosity, as I myself am honestly confused on what to do.  I see BCC as free money so I think there's nothing to be done about it really except keep it for a rainy day?

Voted for BCC and not surprisingly the majority have voted for it too.

Reasoning behind this is simple - bitcoin cash isn't going to get much acceptance from anybody. Exchanges are rejecting the whole idea of bitcoin cash, people are saying that they are just stealing bitcoin's brand to try to take over bitcoin, it just doesn't seem like a long lived, healthy project.

But yeah, it's free money.

If you don't claim it and dump it early then you're going to lose out on these bitcoins. So be ready to dump it on the first instance possible.

Offcourse BCC. Its price would fall to nothing in matter of hours. So, there is no fun of holding it. According to your poll as well, people are planning to dump BCC as nobody is happy with this hardfork event and aren't welcoming of BCC.
