I just can't understand why people are still using this exchange.
Tons of problems with withdrawing coins, and not only that, it's pretty clear that a large part of their volume is fake, who is faking volume do you think?
HitBTC by themself, and if they fake volume I don't know what else they can fake.
Stay away because once an exchange goes bankrupt, there's no going back.
Bitstamp are open for new customers now, I would suggest using bitstamp other then HitBTC

I have stopped using HitBTC since they started this rubbish, how can you be asking that much from users to deposit on your platform, when you are going to charge them exchange fees and also withdrawal fees

This is a shoutout to do your due diligence when selling your tokens/coins. Using the bigger exchanges have its upsides, but many downsides as well.

I joined SwissBorg ICO and wanted to flip my tokens yesterday. The official exchange that has SwissBorg listed as we speak is HitBTC. As I was to deposit my CHSB (SwissBorg tokens) the exchange gave me a notification that it would cost roughly 7 (!?!) percent of my  CHSB holding to deposit it. That is just an outrageously high deposit fee. I saw that a lot of people are complaining about this on their own forum. The threads get shut down rather quick tho. So I decided to see where else I could flip them. On CMC i saw that CHSB was also being sold at LiveCoin, so I made an account there and sold my tokens with a good profit. Took no time for my Tokens to show up on their exchange, and took no time for the Ethereum to return to my wallet once sold. Fees were low aswell.

This is not meant to be a commercial for LiveCoin as much as a warning of not using HitBTC.
