Newbi is an encrypted currency based on the new model of PoC + PoS mining. Newbi has lowered the mining threshold and devoted itself to creating a new mining system with green and energy saving. Using a unique PoC (Proof of Capacity) consensus algorithm, miners can use the idle space in the local computer hard disk drive to mine, while hard disk mining has the natural advantages of low purchase threshold, low power consumption, low noise, less heat dissipation, and can not be ASIC. It has changed the situation that the traditional mining machines are monopolized, the cost is high, the power consumption is high, the noise is big, and the specialized mining field tends to be centralized. It has realized the vision that everyone can dig and mine at home.

Newbi mining software generates and caches large amounts of data, called plots, which are divided into 4096 parts called scoops. Plots is generated by a common address and a specific address, and then computed, adding the generated results in advance, repeating the hash-pre-append cycle many times, and then computing the whole event, or the last calculation at the same time with the whole event. Plot only needs to be generated once, and your hardware will be idle most of the time, more friendly to CPU or GPU hardware and energy.

The total amount of Newbi is 5,396,922,800 without pre-excavation. Starting from the first block, each block will be rewarded with 10,000 Newbi, one block in about 4 minutes. The monthly reward will be reduced by about 2%, and the miners need to mortgage 0.01% of the total circulation of Newbi for mining.
