What an amazingly well-built plane to fly for almost 50! years used and abused by repeated generations. And finally only crushing after being overloaded with goats, sheep and Africans.

Hmmm... the aircraft was manufactured in 1971, by the Tashkent Aviation Production Association. Should have been discarded or condemned many decades ago. But the greedy operators had other priorities. What I don't understand is why a cargo plane was converted in to a passenger aircraft and used to transport people. Is is that difficult to purchase a 45-year old passenger plane?

In this picture of the South Sudan cargo plane crash.....it looks like the cargo section was blown out from within.

Does YoBit actually pay you for just posting a link to an article that you didn't write? What crap! Oh, maybe that's why YoBit pays so low...that would explain it. Can't you offer some productive contribution or point of view on  the topic?

Do you think this plane crash involved foul play?

Is it ISIS?

What's your opinion?

The only positive thing about this crash is that three people managed to survive.

In many of the aircraft crashes, initially a handful of people might be found alive. But their long-term survival rate is near-ZERO.

On 12 November 1996, there was a major aircraft disaster over India, when a Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 747-100B collided with a Kazakhstan Airlines Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft. A total of six people (2 from the Boeing aircraft and 4 from the Ilyushin aircraft) initially survived the crash, but all of them died soon after as a result of internal injuries and third degree burns.

So right now, we can't be sure about the survivors.

Six foreigners also died in the crash, including one Russian and five Armenians. And the cargo plane was manufactured by the Antonov State Company, one of the leading aircraft manufacturer in Russia. Tragedy strikes Russia for the second time in just 48 hours.

Anyway, this time the cause seems to be purely technical. The Juba airport is quite risky, with inadequate equipment and inexperienced staff.
