A lot of personalities has a large number of followers and subscribers on a different platform and one of the major targets of the platform who would like to promote are them, base on my experience in my country the Philippines there are a lot of influencers offering a small amount just to add gameplay of the casino in their videos imagine a three-minute vid and a 1 and a half minute vid related to a gambling casino. They don't really care because they are getting paid its all about the users who will join the platform its their risk. I don't know if theres a law related this that the influencer is the responsible for the possible damage might cause if no they are safe keep doing this marketing strategy.

So there is travel youtuber called Passenger Paramvir, he appears honest and genuine guy and I love his videos.

However, in one of videos that I watched recently he promoted the 1xbet which is obvious scam gambling site.

Now, I don't have anything on these guys, I'd do same in my signature, I wouldn't bother to research much about what I'm promoting as long as I'm having my payment.

Point being, do your own research before you do anything, don't heed anyone blindly, no matter how popular they may be. Here in India, popular actors promote tobacco without thinking what such adverts could do to their followers, and mind you people here are blind after Bollywood stars.

I just wanted to post, I'm aware there are countless such topics already.
It's our responsibility to do some research before we start using a platform or a service because it's our money that is involved and those influencers are not paying us money to be used on the platforms they are promoting, so we shouldn't be blind followers and only use the services and platforms that are legit and that can only be determined if we do our own due diligence. So even though they shouldn't promote scams, we can't completely blame them for it.

Most influencers or small-scale YouTubers don't really get a lot of sponsors for their videos, and when they get one, they basically just can't lose it because who doesn't need money, especially if someone is working full-time on creating content on YouTube? So, we shouldn't blame these YouTubers as they are not the root of the problem.

I'm really flabbergasted that you could think that way as someone who has spent more than half a decade in this forum. Listen, how do you expect newbies to act if they aren't guarded by veterans against such inimical projects and Ponzi schemes when we support such because of what we stand to gain from them. If we keep such a liberal or nonchalant attitude towards businesses that are widely accused of scam, more will spring up and more people will fall victims. That won't help in anyway to instill the purported sanity we crave in this industry.

Talking about doing one's research, that's true. I also advise that but then I've come to figure out that not everyone knows the right place to look if they aren't prodded.

There is no way for an influencer to know if the company or brand they are promoting is a scam or not until they scam people. Sometimes they would advertise or become their brand ambassadors without even knowing anything. Money talks here the most. The more money they pay, the more the influencer talks. I have seen many famous celebrities, actors, players, and influencers doing this kind of work. When a company scams, the blame goes to the person who promoted it.

But if we see someone advertising any company that has previously scammed or known for fraud, I would simply stop following that person. We can clearly see that the person is only hungry for money. & he or she would do anything for money. I despise these kinds of people. My piece of advice is that whatever you do, whomever you follow, whomever you like, if there is any financial deal involved, "Always do your own research" before investing.

In my country 1xbit is been prompted by most celebrities and not just influencers, I don't know the connection between both platforms (1xbet & 1xbit) but I believe they have been connected to be the same company yet many people are still using them because the influencers say so but we can't hold them responsible because they didn't force anyone to use the platforms. We also have influencers advertising alcoholic drinks that are harmful to the body when abused and tobacco too. It's like a normal thing for celebrities (influencers) to be smoking cannabis on social media even when they know their followers might copy them and it's so annoying seeing all this happen and yet nothing is been done about it. The world is fucked already so we owe it to ourselves to always do our due diligence on everything before use.
I have not come across a 1xbit promotion in the country but 1xbet, at first, I thought it was 1xbit, as it was a change of alphabet “i to “e. So, with the similarities in the name that looks fishy to me, and with the scam record that 1xbit has on the forum, I avoided any dealings with the site, but seeing big-name celebrities promote 1xbet in our country that what I'm still trying to understand if it legit or not.

Generally, These influencers are only concerned about the payment or the money they earn from promoting these sites or products, without considering the implications.

Of a truth I have seen many advert on this casino both on television and social media platforms. Mostly promoted by well known celebrities with hugh fan base. I was wondering if these celebrities have the knowledge and idea we have about this casino I do not think they would dare promote it aside those without conscience.

What they are just after is their stomach infrastructure. Always good at promoting a project or product without doing their proper research to find out more about what they are promoting. If only these celebrities can do this, I don't think they will agree to most of the promotional deals and offers that comes their way.

Some people know the way to stay very deceptive and show people the kind of character they would like to see in someone. They are very good at this act that they can actually deceive so many people and convince them into doing things. Many influencers and marketers are very good with this that is why I do not always trust them blindly. Once you understand that these people do not just promote anything with them being in contract with the other party to promote their service for an agreed money. The reviews from someone paid cannot be trusted, they will never talk about the bad side of things, but always will wear the fake face of all things good.

Influencers are free to promote what they want but they should research advertisers who want to work with them. This is so that the influencer's reputation is not damaged because they promote something that often deceives people. However, many influencers don't research because they are tempted by the big money they will receive for promoting advertisers' sites.

As lay people, we must research whether what is being promoted is what we are looking for or whether we don't need it at all. We are responsible for making the decisions so it has nothing to do with the influencer, as they are just doing their job.

However, influencers who care about their followers will research before accepting advertisers' cooperation. They will do research first and reject the advertiser if it turns out that it often deceives people.

Don't blame that influencer, most of they are paid to talk about any project or casinos, it's all about the money for them, only few of them cares more about their reputation than money and this man might not even be aware of the atrocities that 1xbet and 1xbit have caused in crypto and gambling space combined.

I am used to listening to influencers about crypto projects, I use them to get information as it makes things less stressful for me instead of doing the deep research myself, I have made some good and bad decisions following influencers and I have removed a few from my lists of trusted crypto influencers.

The thing is, you don't have to make decisions based on what an influencer said in their video, do not forget that they are also trying to make money, I remember Luna before the collapse, many YouTubers shilled the hell out of this project and after it crashed, some don't even bother to say sorry and some never talked about it again.

Because of this I actually treat anything that is being promoted by influencers with great suspicion, to the point where I treat anything promoted by them negatively, because I believe that good products don't need to be peddled by advertisers.

Everyone should have as a rule of thumb to check the reputation of the service they are about to use for the first time.

I just wanted to post, I'm aware there are countless such topics already.
Thank you so much for your bringing this to our notice and I'm sure most of this promoters and Influencers do all of this stuffs just for the money considering how much YouTube and is likes get to  pay them and just we also promote signatures without doing proper research and that's why I always do my best to do some research before accepting to apply for a campaign because I've heard the news with the 1xbit company and it's campaigns where people earn red trust in their profile simply just for applying and I don't want to fall for anything as such.
Most of the influencers always make it clear that doing our own research is best and we shouldn't reply absolutely on the informations they pass.

Isn't the influencer's main purpose to earn money through their created article and videos?  It is not a surprise that these influencers will accept jobs to promote as long as they get paid and at the same time get paid by the ads.

I never follow any influencers nor believe all things they said without verifying it myself.  I watch them for entertainment purposes only and not to get influenced by what they are doing, or stating.  I see influencers as entertainers after all, I have known that they will do everything as long as they are getting paid.

Although they both have the same parent company, Ixbit, and 1xbet  are two different companies meaning they have separate management.
I have not heard any bad reviews about 1xbet but the rate at which they have been so aggressive in their marketing makes me skeptical.
Almost every influencer at one point in time has done a gig for 1xbet. I have not heard any bad reviews about them so my skepticism towards them is just a personal feeling.

In this case, you can't blame the YouTuber because 1xbet sponsors a lot of big sports clubs so I guess he won't mind if they're legit or not since they're already that big.

If they really care for other people or they want people to support them or believe in them then they shouldn't promote something that could something to tbeir followers like promoting scam sites but if they doesn't care about their reputation then that's what they are going to do where they will accept such thing like promoting 1xbet as long as they qre getting paid. That only means those people only care about getting paid even though they are promoting a scam site. This only makes doing your own research useful against people who are promoting something so to avoid getting yourself scammed by scammers.

Influencers have no chills with the outcome or effect of their promotion on their fan base or followers. As long as they have their pay to do their work it is non of their business what the result my look like. You made mention of 1xbet being promoted by a youtuber, that is the case when someone is not aware of the content or product they are promoting. We here know very well the 1xbet casino and the pending questions begging for answers which they are yet to respond to. If the youtuber had done his or her research, it would have been clear for he or she to know what to do but as they are not,  they feel it is a good market for them but what is there now is that those who are  fully aware of such product will do away with it better still ignore the promotional content.

We promote a site, product and various businesses on our channel because there is an agreement between us and the second party regarding how long and how much we are willing to pay. This is a professional in a service.

I wouldn't have the heart if, solely because of the amount of payment we receive, I would be willing to abandon research about who would be promoted. If a business asks me to advertise their company after a search turns out to be a project I know to be a scam like 1xBit, I'm a bit reluctant to accept it even though I know I'm getting paid.
Money or pay is important and that's what I'm looking for, but there are other things that are not implied that are more important than money.

May I remind you that social media influencing is a also called self-employment. There would be no need to be influencing of you cannot make money of off your personal branding. I do not blame them at all most of them don't have core values or principles that guide them so they accept gigs from every Tom, Dick, and Harry not minding whether it destroys or brings harm to their followers or not.

First of all, what makes a youtuber different from a forum member signature os that.

           Youtube influencer
Youtuber is preaching to you to buy what he is selling directl6through his commemts, suggestions and promotions, so his goals for making the videos is to convince you directly through his words to buy whatever scam he is selling and dont care about your money as long as he get paid to do so.

       Signature campaigns
On the other hand, a signature campaigns member, make his independent comment, and contributes to general discusions constructively and must follow forum rules in communications, this make him free from representing the company he wears the signature.

That is why, we always make the statement to do your own research because the forum doesn't moderate scam to give everybody fair chances and freedom but do your own independent inquiry before you make any deal with whatever company that is promoted here.

Was it 1xbet or 1xbit casino? I’d have to go back to the accusation thread on 1xbit casino, I remember someone linked 1xbet as the parent company of 1xbit. I’m not so sure right now, one thing I do know is that most influencers do not do their research before taking promotion gigs. Their aim of posting content and doing whatever they do online is to attract such business. It’s no surprise that they do not think twice before signing promo deals.

There is always some degree of humor in your posts, I hope your comment regarding signature campaigns doesn’t get dragged to reputation board.

I think it's safe to say that given the right motivation, people can promote even the most insane projects with full intentions. And half the time, they don't use try the project themselves to experience what they're promoting to their users. That said, it is important for users to take whatever information they get and do their own research before delving into it. There are tons of influencers like this on Twitter and I used to hate the players but a wise man once said that you shouldn't hate the players but hate the game.

These social media influencers are just concerned about making money. None of them are giving out humanitarian or free services to the public. 1xbet is a well-known casino that can pay these influencers a high amount of money to promote their services. Some of them don't care about the reputation of the form they are promoting because they are only targeting profit. It is also possible that Passenger Paramvir might not be aware of the fraudulent reputation of the casino, you can send him a personal message to inform him about the danger of promoting this casino.

I think to have made some important points. We shouldn't advertise or promote any service that we know can harm the society. We should also put ourselves in the shoes of people who will experience loss due to our actions. Money is not everything so we should not be blinded by financial gains and assist a firm in defrauding or scam the public. But sometimes these firms pretend to have good intentions only to rug pull or engage in exit scams.

I'll just him the benefits of doubts that he didn't know he was promoting a scam casino and didn't do his due diligence about the casino before he promoted it, also the promotion mightn't be official but a referral partnership as most influencers are now promoting anything with their referral links to get commission. Influencers that just shared a platform without asking you to use them aren't to be held responsible for any action you take but you see those that bet their life on the service or products that they're promoting, those are the ones that we can hold responsible. Ordinary, influencers are just creating awareness about a service or products and you don't have to believe anything they say until you do your diligence. It's just like signature campaign been promoted on the forum, you shouldn't patronized any because someone of high reputation is wearing it (sometimes they haven't had any negative encounter with the platform so they believe it's legit).

Most of influencers if no gambling or crypto background doesn't know the reputation of the site they promote. They are just promoting it like normal thing they do, they don't even care if some people might be in trouble since their main intention is to get some cash on the site they are promoting on.

So for this anything being said by this guys should not taken seriously since we all know their intention is to hype people around to play that site and we should take proper precaution dealing anything on what they said so that we cannot get easily fool around by false promises of easy way earning money if we used the link or codes provided to us since this is just another level of referral profit gaining on their side. Lastly as you said we need to do proper research regarding on the background of this casino or anything they promote so that we may know how good or bad the feedback given by people who experience something while using their site.

First of all, no influencer asks you personally to come watch their videos or like their posts. You as a consumer, go and watch it for your own entertainment.

And I personally don't mind if someone is making money by sharing their content for free of cost. It's not charging you as a viewer anything and person creating content gets funds to keep on making more videos and content.

You never say this for any TV channel or a website where you are forced with ads, do you?

You can do anything you want here e.g. promoting scam project, promoting the project you don't know how it works, promoting the project that you hate etc. Just remember there's a punishment.

The investigation, which you should do, the manager will have already done it before accepting to promote the project, if they notice any red flags, then they won't even accept the offer. But its still better to do your investigation before joining any signature campaign and if you notice anything suspicious, you can inform the manager.
A reputable manager will do their due diligence. If I plan to apply for a campaign run by reputable users, whether or not I have interacted with them, I will do very little by way of research before doing so for two reasons, one of which is what yu pointed out;
- The manager will have done their due diligence and I trust their judgement,
- And the other reason is that there is no guarantee even after researching cause projects can go rogue at any time, even after several weeks of building their reputation.

If the campaign is run by a non reputable user, it will get far more scrutiny.

There is nothing wrong on the side of the youtuber, he was paid to advertise a gambling site 1xbet (1xbet is not a scam) and he did that as agreed .
He made the promotion to create awareness to the public and i believe he never forced any one  to use the site, it is optional, you decide if to use the gambling site or not

Be careful Grin. Almost the same thing was said recently by another forum participant, after which a drama flared up, which still cannot go away.

Thanks for warning, i changed words somewhat to reflect my position better.

Like how you come out to defend yourself with the tobacco promotion  Grin, and to add on this the manufactures themselves do put tobacco is harmful to your health which leaves all this on the user making the right decision as an adult  Cool

It wasn't a defense, i just added it as it came into my mind while writing the topic. I'm aware of warning given on tobacco packets, and it's the exact point I'm implying in topic. Dyor, do not heed anyone blindly.

I don’t believe most of the videos I see on YouTube. No matter how popular and honest I think you are, most of the people who create videos on YouTube are just doing it for their own selfish interests, all they care about is the money they will be paid. He agrees to market for 1xBet without doing proper research about the gambling site, maybe it’s a legitimate site or a scam site, or maybe he knows that the site is a scam site, he just decides to ignore that and still decides to market for them just because of the amount that he is going to be paid. He doesn’t care if people end up falling victim as long as he is being paid.

Now, I don't have anything on these guys, I'd do same in my signature, I wouldn't bother much what I'm promoting as long as I'm having my payment.
I have seen different signature campaigns that have been stopped by managers just because they are being accused of scams. Before a manager launches any signature campaign, they will have done a proper invention about the signature campaign which they are about to launch, and if after launching a campaign, the site is being accused, the manager will immediately put a stop to the campaign. The investigation, which you should do, the manager will have already done it before accepting to promote the project, if they notice any red flags, then they won't even accept the offer. But its still better to do your investigation before joining any signature campaign and if you notice anything suspicious, you can inform the manager.

So there is travel youtuber called Passenger Paramvir, he appears honest and genuine guy and I love his videos.

However, in one of videos that I watched recently he promoted the 1xbet which is obvious scam gambling site.
You cant blame the guy for not knowing the bad reputation these guys have around the internet, because firstly his not a gambler, secondly these are the kind of gigs these guys look for to get easy money!

Besides, I have noticed on how aggressive 1xbet is with promotions and using the most happening influencers currently in so many different countries and surprisingly nobody puts them to their defense with the bad reputation!!

Otherwise the onus is on the player to do his/her own research and make an informed decision on what services to use or not.

Now, I don't have anything on these guys, I'd do same in my signature, I wouldn't bother much what I'm promoting as long as I'm having my payment.

Point being, do your own research before you do anything, don't heed anyone blindly, no matter how popular they may be. Here in India, popular actors promote tobacco as if it's some healthy thing.

I just wanted to post, I'm aware there are countless such topics already.
Like how you come out to defend yourself with the tobacco promotion  Grin, and to add on this the manufactures themselves do put tobacco is harmful to your health which leaves all this on the user making the right decision as an adult  Cool

1X Corp N.V is the parent company, they have other subsidiaries out of which 1Xbit and 1Xbet are part of it. The parent company has its own set of controversies. It is better to stay away from any online casino that startes with 1X.

Indian Youtubers are least bothered in checking the background of the sponsoring organization. They only think it as another opportunity of earning with their YouTube advertisement revenue. Indian influencers do not get high ad revenue like their counterparts based in the West. Then India doesn't have any law at the moment that can put influencers behind the bar for promoting scam. Many celebrities have also promoted scam projects in the past resulting in huge loss of public money. They are still roaming freely.

a lot of these influencers don't really care what they advertise, as long as it is legal and they are getting paid for it, then it is good for them.

this also reminds me of a thread created by one of the forum members where a Filipino YouTuber advertised 1xbet on one of their videos, what's worse is that those Filipino YouTubers are very popular in the country and most likely have a lot of underage audiences.

However, in one of videos that I watched recently he promoted the 1xbet which is obvious scam gambling site.
1xBet is actually a legitimate (not recommended) and different casino from 1xBit we know from bitcointalk. But there are some evidence that both are run by the same parent company.
from what I remember 1xbit and 1xbet are owned by a parent company but 1xbit now claims that they have a new management and are not connected to 1xbet and its parent company.

It's subjective but my preference will be not promoting anything that causes others to lose their money because I have to be honest with the people whom I am influencing which may not look attractive but trust me in the long run it will pay you off.

But I get your point and I totally agree with it, no matter who says what, we should not trust our money without any research done by us and make sure it is what actually and whether it benefits me in any way.

This guy is just making money by advertising this site. In the same way, he makes money by posting his videos on YouTube. Many people are only concerned about this. They will advertise whatever they get paid for. This is why I don't trust YouTube. Whatever is placed there must be subject to verification. At one time, I spent a lot of time watching many videos about how people on the forum, participating in bounty, made millions. But everyone grows up one day and stops trusting those who care only about their own interests. Do you think YouTubers, when they say something in their videos, are doing it selflessly?

Be careful Grin. Almost the same thing was said recently by another forum participant, after which a drama flared up, which still cannot go away.

You are trying to say as forum member people should not mind the site is scam or not but they just have to promote it after the forum has warned against members promoting it? Well this is true that no law holds anyone but technically they are luring users of this forum and to those who don't know about the site to start making use of it even though they are scam it doesn't affects its promoter right?

To me it shows how selfish they are for not at least making this forum a better place for other people as bitcoiner, this shows you can encourage scam on the forum right? actually we know that the forum doesn't moderate scam but we the active users should try our best to eliminate scam and make this place home lovable by everyone and not a place to be recording more scamming people and their projects.

The question is does the well known youtuber has a any basic knowledge that such site he is promoting is a scamming one?
