There is nothing surprising in this. With the advent of this messenger, there are only more spammers. I always ignore these kinds of messages on all social networks and messengers and when I receive these kinds of messages I immediately block the sender and i sending the report about spam.

Hello guys, I would like to show something that I am not sure about it. So, what I did is I take a screenshot right away to post it here and I never click anything that is shown in there. This is all about telegram, A message from someone that I don't know. Is anyone here also received this kind of message in telegram?.

Unfortunately, i'm receiving the same kind of spam every day. Though accounts are getting banned fast, I'm not really satisfied that I get these messages first.

i already stop using telegram normal because downloading videos or movies from is not safe
For better downloading experience you can use TELEGRAM X from play store which has many extra features compared to normal telegram app.

telegram X is basically a 'fork' of Telegram. it has another risk and at the same time suffer the same security issues (if any) like telegram.

you don't have to use it because with original telegram you can already block yourself from malicious files. as long as you don't click and download any malicious files from an unknown user then you'd be safe.

note: pls fix your quote. no need to quote the entire post.

Did you know this type of message by any chance?.
It doesn't matter what type of message it is they are all a scam. Today it is this, yesterday it was a different message and tomorrow they will think of something else.

Nobody is going to contact you over Telegram offering you anything that is true. Any money, promotion, protection or investment offer your receive you should consider a scam attempt and simply ignore it and report it to Telegram.

yes they just trying to steel others crypto currency without a earning or investing in to crypto.i also get some mesages saying they like to offer 10% for exchange the coin but i didnt engage with it.i just asked il put order on exchange and they can buy for price + 10% .they quite and i still keep some of my crypto.

What annoys me most, is when they pretend to be an admin of a particular project while they're not. They'll ask you whether you've invested or not, trying to tell you how to invest and have much profit. To spot them easily is their username, their username will be a bit different from the main admin. As it goes, admins never pm first

Everything about that message is shady. shes offering a service to protect your wallet which will lead to making your wallet vulnerable to their hacking activity. I've seen this kind of thing on the internet while you are browsing the web without adblocker there will offer you some anti-Virus to protect your system but requires you to buy their product.

That was a good idea when you take a screenshot of the message, If you just click that thing no one knows what would have happened right?
There were a lot of cases about their Altcoins getting hacked without knowing the cause. A clickbait like that will lead us to our destruction if we are not aware.

With my experience in the telegram, no one going to offer good things from random. Then you don't have to think about that. Definitely they are spam or going to scam you. The be careful with random telegram private messages.

That sums it up really.

If someone you don't know send you PM on Telegram, simply delete and report it, you don't even have to check it out as it is a scam. At least that's what I'm doing with all those annoying PMs i am getting every day.

If you think Telegram is bad... you should try just having a mobile phone in Indonesia Roll Eyes

I spent 2 years working there, and the constant bombardment of scam SMS messages was crazy... almost daily claiming that I had won a car, or a scooter in some fake online giveaway, complete with pictures of said item and official looking documents and pictures of organisers etc... and all I had to do was pay the delivery fee to get it delivered by a C-130 to my location Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

A basic rule of thumb in life... "In spite of their 'Best Price' claims, unsolicited offers are generally not looking out for your interests". Tongue

I don't recommend others to use telegram social media. I prefer to used discord for communicating investors and partnership. Telegram is prone to hacking maybe OP has not alone of this case that someone sending you a PM. I saw a lot of people fall in the trap of scammers via telegram. Here is my friendly advice, if there is something strange that sending you a message, just ignore them and don't lure of what they had offer, especially those asking help but at the end, you are a victim.

I already changed my telegram settings to My Contacts like Groups and my number before I received this message. I only block this telegram user since I can only block and there is no report button either. Did you know this type of message by any chance?. Thank you anyway.

It is most likely a bot that is spreading Malware or virus.

In upper Telegram screen there must be an option to block and then report user/bot

Again to everyone:

- Don't install telegram bots

Is that bot? just block them and it's good that you never clicked anything because as I've seen that 'protect your wallet' message below seems to direct you somewhere.

If you don't know the guy that messaged you, just don't reply and if it annoys you, block them. Those people are everywhere and even on social media, I keep receiving message from unknown guys asking the same question about crypto.
This telegram user is offline and online a few times before being offline until now. I'm glad that I didn't click the protect your wallet because right after I saw it is my feeling is that if I click it then a browser will open and then getting your crypto scammed by this person.

It's normal for anyone using telegram to receive messages from unknown people trying to scam them it's up to you not to fall for their scam.
I did install Telegram App in my mobile device but I haven't use telegram app for a long time until now after I saw the notification of telegram where the notification usually show when I open the app.

All the time... sadly.
Just Block them and Report as a Spam.

Telegram is the worst place full of scammers and fake lurking profiles.

Few more things you can do to reduce number of this PMs:

- in Privacy and Settings - Hide your number
- in Privacy and Settings - Groups - (only my contacts can add you to Groups)

- in Privacy and Settings - Last seen & Online - My Contacts (optional - Nobody)

Random people who usually send you unsolicited messages on telegram pretending to be offering something are usually scammers.
Just ask your self this question,  how did this person know that you actively do cryptos?

Just bock them at all costs.
I am fully aware that I should not trust any people that I didn't know in telegram. Most topic about receiving messages in telegram is about you receiving/earning crypto and this is kind of new to me where someone sends me PM offering protection in wallet.

And because of recent Malware Masad and others spreading with Telegram everyone should be very careful:

- Don't download anything from Telegram
- Disable automatic media download in Telegram
- Ask download path for each file in Telegram
- Don't install telegram bots
