We can make a fun game about this!  Our lawyer said we were totally good to go as long as we did not ship/sell powder or fuses...but I suppose its possible she is wrong.

Whoever can provide a law that would prevent the legal SHIPMENT of our cannon (specs below) to a given state I will send a free cannon when the first batch is done.  Of course in some states and locales there may be laws against someone firing them (that's why we recommend that people look up their local laws to make sure that their specific locale is cool), I am just concerned about SHIPPING it to them.

(1) FREE Cannon per US STATE that it is outlawed to SHIP to.

The bore is .177" in diameter and a hair under 1" in length.
The cannon is muzzle loading.
It is fired with a 1/16" diameter fuse.
The powder specced is black powder or equivalent substitute.

One thing I found is that shipping a muzzleloader to NJ requires that it be shipped TO an FFL license holder.  So you'd be breaking the law if you shipped it directly to a customer.

Illinois requires the shipper to have an FOID, and possibly the buyer as well.

I'd like to do more research on this, but really need sleep right now.  I'll come back to it though.

If you'd be willing to ship one to me for free, I'll see if I can use my workplace's chronograph and/or high speed video camera... either one would be easy enough to determine speed with.

As far as a ballistics test, any recommendations where we could have one done and at what cost?

Most any paintball shop or gun shop should have a chronograph, if you can figure out a way to convince them to let you use it.

Ballistic gel would be sweet, but a bit more expensive to use I think.

I would be interested in picking one of these up if I ever made it to $29 worth of BTC in my wallet again. At the moment I pretty much spend BTC as fast as I get it. Sad

I am curious what the ATF thinks of these though... if they consider homemade non-functional suppressors for paintball/airsoft as under their jurisdiction I can easily see them considering this a muzzle-loader.

It does not come with a ram rod, fuses or any powder.  The logistics and expense of shipping those along with the cannons didn't make much sense to us.

***APPLY SAFETY GLASSES***
With that being said, we stick a 1/16" fuse in the fuse hole (we use the cheapest Chinese fuse available).  Then we add powder to the top of the bore, pack it gently which compresses it to about 1/2 bore length.  We then add a BB and light away.

Any recommendations on more stuff to take videos of blowing up?

I'll be buying once BTC goes up, lol. I'd like to see a full demonstration on how to use it too. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a ballistics test so I know how dangerous it could be (velocities, etc)

Does it come with a ram rod?

I would be more likely the buy one if the site contained more information about how the cannon works.

Yes.  Can I buy ammo and the other necessary things to make it fire from you?  There are so many questions, and they are not answered on you site at all.

Look ARROUND!
As some of you are aware, we are selling mini-cannons at http://www.pocketartillery.com .  Paypal has decided they do not want to be part of any of it because of EBAY'S policies.  I understand eBay owns Paypal but that is kind of silly.  We have offered Bitcoin payment from the beginning yet NOT A SINGLE PERSON has paid with it as of right now, with over 250 orders through Paypal.  Come on people...check out with BITCOIN instead of Paypal!

The market has spoken.

Most people find it too difficult to use bitcoins, therefore I'm not surprised that there is a lot less conversions than with paypal. Paypal is easy to use and people are used to it.
