i got that error during the price drop today when i tried to sell some of the btcs. The trade never got registered - several times. Anyone else having the same issue? was mtgox shut down bc of traffic?
This is a problem acknowledged by the operator of the exchange. It happens when there are too many attempts to enter orders.
If Mt. Gox is at capacity and unable to accommodate the heavy trading maybe the entrance of TradeHill is where those finding the errors will start to head. Mt. Gox has been working on new software and perhaps when that is in place the situation will improve as well.
