Googling yobit.net and "scam" doesn't yield much at all.   That's why I started this thread.   So it can show up in Google results.
You should query results from Bitcointalk, those usually are better: http://bfy.tw/Di8R.

Maybe you should?  Did you take a look at those "results", or did you just blindly copy-pasta it?  You took the time to go find that 'google it for me site', too bad you couldn't actually check the links.  I told you I Googled it.  Look at the very first result (and there are ONLY 2):
"I dont think so, that Yobit is scam. "

It literally says that Yobit is NOT a scam.   All this "proof" that you think exists somewhere that Yobit is a scam, does not.  Which is why people are continuing to get scammed.

"I think yobit is not a scam because i'm trading there"

Literally, a bunch of people are saying it's not a scam on that thread.  The second thread?  The second thread IS THIS THREAD.

Ive had a real problem with yobit holding withdrawl on wallets that are supposed to be working. ive had shrm on withdraw for a week. all it says is in process with no answers from support and no way to cancel, the price crashed 70pct while they froze the withdrawl. CROOKED and NASTY
Stop using it then.

That's some sage advice.

It's almost as if you're trying really hard to bury the evidence of Yobit scamming by attacking anyone reporting the scam.  I wonder why that is.

Oh, by "warning signs" you mean their bitcointalk profile?   Because that's the first thing you check when you're looking to use a new exchange.
Said no one.
ever.
Are you telling me that you start using an exchange that you're not familiar with without doing proper due diligence? Might as well send your money to a Bitcoin burner address. Roll Eyes

They have already been tagged as a shady / scammy exchange. What more could you possibly want? YoBit:

Warning: Trade with extreme caution!

You are at fault for ignoring the warning signs and not staying away.

What happened::
Yobit disables wallets, but allows trading to continue, without ever fixing the wallet.

Wallet  is on maintenance.
The solution to this cryptocurrency will take some time, need to update the wallet.
We apologize for any inconvenience
Apparently, they've done this for a few coins.  Wallet goes into maintenance for whatever reason.  Trading is allowed to continue.  Wallet never leaves maintenance.

Additional Notes:
Since they don't let you know when a wallet is under maintenance, you get a nice surprise when you go to withdraw.

Over a month ago, BTD went into maintenance on Yobi, trading was allowed to continue.  The coin has since switched to BTDX, but all they needed to do was update the client/daemon.

There's a ton of other coins this is happening to.  You won't know unless you try to generate an address/attempt to withdraw, then surprise!  Have to sell them back at a loss.
