2. Other one is always spread their trap everywhere and looking for some fool man to get trapped so that they can earn a bucks from them.

i can agree on that with you , but then again you need to use common sense , nobody will give you free money out of thin air, i too falled in the begin to this kind of traps.. i learned the hard way , so i wont go easely in to this kind of traps, but they dont lie, they will give you shitcoins who are even not at blockchains.

but the word SCAM has another meaning to me, scam for me is stealing my money like cryptopia did or other exchanges who are not in the air anymore.

so scam ==> no ,but you need indeed to be warned about how they play their game Wink

These people just do not stop, they are still going on and on and on.... and their scamming just goes on and on and on....

I would have thought Yobit surely would have had enough cases and scam accusations against it for authorities to intervene and shut it down by now.

They will not stop and they will continue to build and create new plan to pump new projects, they already build a big community in Cryptotalk forum, their own forum full of shills and spammers, Yobit probably is the most stable scam exchange in the industry and it's hard to stop them because many are still supporting them, and they have huge money for advertisement.

Big community of dummy and alt accounts that abused there campaign before. Most of the topic there are just here and post there so most of the post there has no value and there marketing was obviously sucks because they will not the scheme on the OP on there marketing if they really performing well.

Only few years left before Yobit completely runaway.

It's not a min reason for tagging some one. lol. You just shared your experience. So don't worry about it.

It's good that you did not face any issue before. And there are also many people here who also did not face any issue. But did you notice a lot of scam accusation still active in this forum?

Again according to your explanation you have said yobit don't force someone to join or it's only customers responsibility they will invest on somewhere in yobit or not. But can you tell me who is the good from below?

1. One is Go straight with transparency and they don't do something user could be affected.
2. Other one is always spread their trap everywhere and looking for some fool man to get trapped so that they can earn a bucks from them.

i am using yobit since 2017, till now i have no really issues with this exchange, and the issues i had its been solved very quickly. ive been for a while in crypto-world and saw many scam exchanges, who really scammed their users ( me including ) .

offcourse Yobit does things were you can put big question marks to it. like this pump, they are saying what they gonna do and as a user of the yobit exchange , i can participate on it or not , this is whole my resposinbility. but they are not lying and doing what they promisess. and if you dont like that yobit are emailing you , you can easely uncheck the yobit news in your yobit settings.

indeed you need to be (very) carefull as newbie in Yobit :
- if you are greedy you will lose your money
- if something is good to be true 99% its good to be true
- dont listen to chats ( actually this is almost in every echanges)
- and use your common sense

in yobit there are a lof of coins , 90% even are locked , you cant transfer it from their exchanges, but most of those coins are abondoned by the devs.

so next tip is: check the wallet for his status,

my biggest tip is, if you gonna use Yobit, trade only with big coins and do your own research.

i am not member of yobits team - nor i am payed to say this, i only giving my expereince with this exchange

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I can't count how many emails i've got from yobit. Yes, i ever had used them, but i've abandon it since 2 or 3 years ago because of they pump and dump the token on their site by themselves. Make people buy a token on peak and they just dump it immediatelly. All any kind of giveaways, and promotion from yobit should be ingnored
Every campaign they carry out via email is indeed often done, even yobit spreads the news to all its users, I remember every coin they pump and then throw away completely and this is clear that yobit is a very bad exchange, accusations prove that we need to leave him.

It's really ridiculous the names they use whether it's for the towers or something Yopony and Yopump and maybe it just wants to keep up with the current trend, ah never mind I know all the tokens on yobit are crap.

I have read posts in the past where users say that Yobit are based in Russia and that could the be the reason they have not been shut down but if victims are US citizens or EU citizens and Yobit are using any servers or banking system based in either - then that would be enough for them to make a request to shut it down as well as use Interpol and whatnot to trace the owners/operators. Something about this whole Yobit thing just does not make sense.

The EU and US authorities have gone after lots of thieves and scammers in the past including those that stole crypto. It is hard to believe just being based in Russia is enough for scammers to hide or not be arrested. I am just confused.

I had to chuckle at the lipstick and fishnets analogy (which is correct of course) Grin

That makes two of us. Exactly what is going on is a mystery. Is what Yobit doing described as borderline in legal terms? I thought a ponzi is a ponzi no matter how it is dressed up and ponzi schemes are illegal.
No, you're on the money--a Ponzi is a Ponzi no matter how much you put lipstick and fishnets on that ugly pig.  But whether it's allowed or whether it's prosecuted when discovered by regulatory agencies/law enforcement depends on where the Ponzi is operating out of, and if I'm not mistaken Yobit is in Russia.

That's the only thing I've ever known (or thought I've known) about Yobit, that they're Russian.  So I'm thinking wherever in Russia they are, the government isn't looking very closely at what they're doing--or they're getting a payoff of some sort.  Corruption is everywhere, and not just in Russia.

And yeah, this YoPump is a bunch of horse shit served up on a poo poo platter to suckers who like gambling and don't mind losing money.

I also saw the email sent to me about the "YoPump in 21 hours!"
I don't know if traders still fall for such stupid and cheap pump and dump scams. Anyone who surely believes in them must be mentally unstable,
With that email marketing strategy surely some new victims will be created no matter how others are trying to protect them. Yobit are thriving on the sadness and inexperience of its victims.

This is what beats my understanding. How can know scammers remain in operation for years untouched?
Is it that no victim cares reporting them to authorities but rather just settle on making reviews online on how they were scammed?

99,99% all kind of promotions on yobit are scam. Better stay away from them, they have been known as pump and dump exchange. How could a token increased until 1000% within a day? You can only find it on yobit.

I think they believe they are doing a fine job with catchy slogans and buzz words for their non-blockchain coins that are made from thin air trash therefore are non-transferable and non-tradeable on real exchanges therefore nothing more than what is says on the tin - they are pump and dump ponzi style scams.

Its nothing new and Yobit is doing this from the beginning. You can call this the most important components of their marketting. To me its nothing but taking the advantage of users database and they are completely taking its benefit. Its not like that anyone will believe on their word but new traders will be affected for sure. Its because they have less knowledge about Yobit and their slefmade price pump related prediction.

I have seen so many exchanges who usually give listing and platform related updates to notify their registered users but Yobit is completely following different track. Another topic created on "Reputation" about this which proved that Yobit email campaigns is taking a good number of people's attention

I am more surprised that even if they are doing this, they still have users. Hopefully, newbie traders and users alike come across the hundreds of complaints about Yobit, and we can take an action against their scummy way of dealing business.

To the users, if someone offers you an insider information in regards to which coin or stock are going down, up and sideways, it is a scam, why would anyone offer that precious information to some stranger that is willing to do a quick buck. Always ask yourself, if I have this information, will I share it?

YoPony & YoPump in 21 hrs!

=====
SCAM ALERT
=====

You honestly have to ask yourself why on earth they would use the most ridiculous words when trying to scam people in their marketing emails: "YoPony" and "YoPump" might not exactly be catchy enough to scam most newbies but sadly some just might fall victim.

These people just do not stop, they are still going on and on and on.... and their scamming just goes on and on and on....

I would have thought Yobit surely would have had enough cases and scam accusations against it for authorities to intervene and shut it down by now.
