Another solution if the fan is totally dead Try to flash it with Braiins OS and bypass the fan check.

That is a bad idea, he will toast the miner, your first guess however makes a lot of sense, the second fan status is showing 0 rpm on the miner status page, however this should not stop him from being able to upgrade to a different firmware ( someone corrects me if I am wrong, I never tried it but i don't see why it shouldn't happened)

Anyway OP, you should first confirm that both fans are working just fine before trying anything else, if this turns out to be another issue when I will try to guide you on how to troubleshoot the miner, but nothing will make any sense as long as you are not getting the 2 fans to show up, a simple troubleshoot would be swapping the fan cables the goes to the control board, see if Fan2 then shows 0 and another Fan shows any rpm reading, if that happens then you have faulty fan for sure.

It seems that the issue here is the fan that is why the miner is running at the first boot and stop.
Bitmain firmware always checks the fan if the one fan is faulty/damaged the miner will stop.

The kernel logs should show the fan problem like "Fatal error: Some fan lost or fan speed low"
Maybe one of your fans is dead or not attached properly. Try to check then clean the fan socket and pin then reattach.

power one hash board

which means 3 jacks in a row for 1 boards

other two boards no wires attached

power the controller.

let it run for 30 minutes  show us some screen shots  to see if one board works.

the ()   are plugged to power

this shows me only one fan working  which could mean the controller fan jack died

Hi.

My AntMiner from 2016 was working pretty well. Once the windmill died, I replaced.
Then the red light started to blink someday.
There is nothing in the kernel log. It's empty. https://i.imgur.com/tUrsLDX.png
Monitor looks like https://imgur.com/9lw8y01.png

I have restored it to factory settings, then tried to upgrade firmware.

Everytime just nothing happens, simply nothing.
With s9_fix_upgrade.tar it says '413 – Request Entity Too Large' (https://i.imgur.com/bJ51jMv.png)

It's getting GetWorks with 0 GH/S(RT)

That's all what I am able to tell.
I need your help.
