Actually. I think Hillary did not use the word "re-education", but rather "deprogramming* because in her opinion, most of Trump voters and backers are hypnotized in a cultist-like state, but that only her opinion and the opinion of a handful of people.

On the issue of weapons: Since I do not live in the USA, I do not have as much saying as someone from there could have, however, if I lived there I would not mind for people to have their guns, as long as there is a bipartisan effort to protect innocent people (including children) to fall victim of a madman with a semi automatic rifle. I do not mind whether it is a hobby thing, a representation of the 2th amendment, or just people who like to shoot for fun.
Guns are okey, but killing indiscriminately is not and won't even be ...

Republican lawmakers, by the way, talk much about mental issues and yet are not willing to fund programs to tackle mental health in an affordable way.

Well, of course, we would have to go back to the actual recording of Hillary to see if she said any of it.

A mad-wild madman can get away with causing trouble for a little while. But that's why the public should ALL have guns. Even a madman will think a couple of times if he thinks he is being confronted by hundreds or thousands of people with guns... guns right with them, on their person, all the time.

It seems that much of Congress, both Rep and Dem, is in favor of the wars. They must have stock in the weapons market. Shutting down the Federal Government would get rid of their authority to use guns all over the world... make war, that is.

Cool

So you are in favor of the idea or theory of the "good guy with a gun" who is supposed to say bystanders are to be saved by a law-abiding citizen with a gun from a mad mass shooter. While I admit there are situations which  a good guy with a gun managed to take out the shooter as soon as he started to fire against innocent people, there are still situations in which the good guy would not be in such position of advantage to save innocent bystanders.

Take for instance the horrible attack in Las Vegas, the target was a wide surface of concerngoers. Even if they had handguns with them, they could have never counter attacked against the shooter. They were not even aware where bullets were coming from.

What is supposed to be done to prevent those events to happen and take innocent life?

Anti-Gunners About To Meltdown After Elon Musk Says 'Armed Citizens Vital For Democracy's Defense'

Elon Musk most likely upset anti-gunners at Everytown and Giffords this weekend with his post on X, stating, "As tragic as the mass shootings are, armed citizens are essential to the defense of democracy."

Musk's comment was in response to an X user named "End Wokeness," who highlighted, "The past 3+ years have been one long infomercial for the 2nd amendment."

The past 3+ years have been one long infomercial for the 2nd amendment:

•Lockdowns and vax mandates
•Months of race riots and looting
•Police are defunded, crime rages
•Soros DAs let criminals roam free
•Millions of illegals storm the border
•Hillary calls for re-education… [Show more]

End Wokeness listed a series of events, including Covid lockdowns and lawless metro areas, as some of the reasons why law-abiding Americans panic-bought guns in recent years.

According to the latest data from the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), which serves as a proxy for gun sales, because there is no national database tracking firearm purchases, gun demand surged during the early days of Covid. It continued erupting as Black Lives Matter protests/riots sparked concern for safety among millions of Americans. Gun demand has since plunged since panic buying was merely a bubble.
