I know Mythbusters has an episode on traffic camera defeating devices. How are these different than the ones there?

the spray i have does the same thing as the product you linked. there are several variations of these products from several different manufacturers. some manufacturers make a reflective cover. the problem is nobody makes a cover that both reflects and blurs. the only way to get both technologies is to use the spray and the cover.

Do you sell these?

I believe the spray product he's selling does exactly that, unless you're referring to the Ferrari, then I am not sure if OP sells that Tongue

even if you are scared of laws you should actually confirm if this product is illegal where you live cause making assumptions is useless. and if you determine they are illegal then you have to weigh the pros and cons. you will definitely pay more to traffic cameras than you will to a slick cop that actually knows what this product is. even if you do find that slick cop the ticket for this will be alot less than the tickets you will get from the cameras. where i live having your front windows tinted too dark is illegal but most cops are too lazy to pull you over for a non moving violation. and if you are unlucky enough to find one that does it's just a compliance ticket for $50. it has nothing to do with your driving record.

i hear they "might" be illegal in some states, but the majority of states currently have no law on the books that deem this product to be illegal. the cover is completely clear and does not obstruct an officer from viewing your plate. since the plate looks like a regular cover there is no reason for anybody to suspect it either. the only thing these products interfere with is the cameras and they can't give you a ticket if they can't read your plate so who gives a fuck about legality? the whole world is corrupt as fuck the only people who play by the rules are the ones who get bent over.

I agree with you WEB, but there is still a risk (however small) in a surveillance state like the UK that all of sudden authorities will get a bug up their ass about this. Like all good slaves, sorry citizens we have to balance what we can get away with regardless of how ridiculous certain laws are.

This will probably only happen if mass adoption of these occur though, which is unlikely, so you're probably looking at a nice risk/reward concerning use of these Wink

Cool product but as far as I k ow those are illegal in the EU

Why am I not surprised  Roll Eyes

Will they ever charge you for using these to obstruct their cameras? Or is this completely legal?

I doubt this is legal, or if it is, it is an area that has not been properly explored very much by authorities (how many jo sixpack people would use these or even know where to buy them?).

Don't get me wrong, I love this product and the spirit behind it (I've been ticketed more times than I care to admit in London, and it came to way more than $200) but I think there is potential risk for being seen as evading justice or some other shit.

I'll certainly consider these if I have a car anytime soon.

Grats on an awesome side business.

it's not just about blowing red lights. they also get you for speeding, trying to squeeze by during the left turn light, or not coming to a "complete" stop when turning right on red. and it's not about how many violations you have in a month, it's about how many you will get in your life. it doesn't take a genius to figure out it's better to be pay once vs paying up the ass till the day you die. one violation in my area costs $100 and if you don't pay in one month it doubles to $200. don't pay that they take you to court get a judgement for court costs attorney fee's and now you owe the city $800. being able to blow through I-pass lanes and not pay toll any more is another nice perk that adds up well beyond the cost of these products.

I got tired of paying tickets so i bought myself protection. The product works and after having family and friends express interest i decided to buy bulk and turn my losses in to profits. I have two products, plate covers and spray. They are designed to protect you from red light cameras and tollway cameras but they both function differently. The spray reflects the flash from photo cameras. The cover has a special lens that blurs video cameras. The spray will not protect you from video and the cover will not protect you from photo. Most cameras today are video, but the latest traffic cameras take both photo and video. To protect yourself from both types of cameras use the spray and the cover. The spray and cover are $50 each. Shipping within the USA is free. I will accept BTC paypal or moneypak. No escrow. No paypal from nubs.
