Most likely they are simply under pressure and are forced to impose such prohibitions because the cryptocurrency is now in the trend and its advertising is very profitable

People are acting shocked about this facebook story is crazy. There are probably a lot more company's who do or have done the same thing and didn't get punished that hard. Most people are so quick to give up their privacy for a bit of convenience in daily life. And people need to remember that faceboos owns a lot more then just facebook.com.

Facebook is too big to fail in my opinion but people arround the world now concern about their privacy. Bad move for facebook and facebook stock will fall. I hope when facebook investor selling their stock because of this privacy issue they will learn about crypto and do the investment in crypto. If it is happen prepare for some fresh money incoming guys.

I don’t think facebook will fail just because they banning crypto-related advertisements, and the owner won’t be poor yet just because he is not allowing it on his social media application. Who knows, maybe he will be creating a cryptocurrency as well for future transactions for facebook.

it should be so, because if there is a cooperation between facebook with crypto, then both sides will be profitable and I am very confident this relationship will add to develop and advance for both parties, hopefully this also happens to geogle that will ban crypto in june future, to also cancel the ban

I never liked Facebook nor have I ever trusted Mark Zuckerberg. I have an account, but I rarely use it. Now that all this news came out, I trust them even less. It's time for crypto to take over this space with a real decentralized social platform.

I think they are not against to crypto if we look at the positive sides they ban that crypto add to reduce the possibiliy of scam project they concern to us and they notice about crypto
This is what I'm thinking about since blockchain principle is not against on Facebook. They jist want to protect us from scam ICO. But until now , there is still crypto advertisement in Facebook. Is the ban totally implemented or not?

Yea I can see a facebook crypto advertisement until now, I dont think when will facebook ban all the crypto adds or filter that but too many artictle that says it starting for banning.

Today Facebook has collapsed for privacy scandals. They make the pure and then give privacy. The Crypto are good. Whoever puts himself against the Crypto is destined to fail

I would't call a 6% dip a collapse... BTC daily +/- movement is usually higher every day.

I don't like FB as they are privacy trader, but they will not collapse anytime soon. With nearly 2B user base, they are very powerful media.

ATTENTION Cry Cry

ignoring their lies and links are a scam

I spent a few weeks without entering the forum, and when this user came in I stole the account. I am with messages to the owners of the forum but I have no way to have an answer.

That is why I keep advising people that investing into cryptocurrencies is investing into the future. Facebook and Google will one days depend on cryptocurrencies and bitcoin for survival and many of them are going to make bitcoin the number one mode of payment on any of there ads services. If we can understand that who ever goes against bitcoin is ban to fail then we will not be selling our coins at loses.

they may not understand and understand what cryptocurrency and benefits can be derived from advertising, it also can actually make people easier to put an ad on facebook when they receive a bitcoin payment on facebook advertising, I believe it will make them big too

Hahaha I am very happy to hear this news, crypto is really prove to the world that crypto the strongest, we will always support you anything that block the crypto, hopefully with this other party will realize that crypto is safe and clean.
Right, it is certainly not with the closure of advertising that will be able to stop the spread of blockchain in all sectors. FB and big G fear blockchain just like banks and everything that is centralized
Advertisement BAN will never stop the spread of the crypto. Even is a lot of countries are give un-direct advertisement through release the news about the blockchain and crypto anytime.

It looks like the BIG foundation just like FB and Google was only taking a risk in the crypto to become their reason to ban the crypto advertisement. That will never be worked.

I hope that this is just a temporary problem with facebook but it seems that it can't be stop no matter what we do. It does create a panic to every investors, that's why bitcoin falls rapidly last week. You shouldn't worry about of facebook banning crypto there are still a lot of good social media platform out there.

Unfortunately I do not think it will be a temporary problem. ZUk is afraid of decentralized things. He has blogged facebook because he wants to command all of him

The effect of crypto on facebook is very strong, even crypto communities like Group and Fanspage are one of most bona fide and solid communities compared to others because on average they have a lot of money.

The crash has nothing to do with Crypto, it was because of the data breach.

Well, what you say is true facebook just wants to organize and neatly arrange against some fraud on behalf of crypto. I guess what the facebook team is doing is the right move they don't want their users stuck by ads that offer too much sweet promise.

The crash has nothing to do with Crypto, it was because of the data breach. The only thing here is just that when you use a platfrom lik facebook free oj charge you will pay for it with your own data, and since what they do is to monetise their users data and people careless about things like this

Facebook is earning most its revenue out of the data it is able to accumulate and use. They are the owners of this huge amount of data, and can decide who can use it or not, and can exploit it to increase their earnings.

Blockchain, on the other hand, is the exact opposite of this and gives the ownership of the data back to the public. Would facebook like social media data stored on a public blockchain, instead of its data centers? I don't think so..
Even for a big like Facebook, the end can be consumed in no time. This data history will go on for a long time
While they wouldn't want their own data stored on a blockchain, it doesn't mean that they can't advertise and make ad revenue for other incoming projects. They may be selective and not advertise for any social media blockchains (if there are some) but other than that they can do what they please. They are an extremely successful company, and I doubt they make any moves lightly. Look for this to boost their stock price in a couple of months to years from now.
Well, at least someone was paying to show their ads on facebook and that's the difference. Anyway, advertising crypto was no different with a paid one, it's just that they were really annoyed of those floods of posts everywhere. I wonder if they just want someone to pay for them for those flooding or there might be someone reporting those crypto ads every now and then that seems to be annoyed in it.

Agreed! Facebook is a massive threat to one's privacy. They are literally tracking your each and every movements right from browsing posts to watching videos. Nowadays they somehow manage to get my search engine data that is I get ads in Facebook which are relevant to my searches in Google! Lol

Well, i believe once Mark finished his crypto readings and case study
I do think that the Ban will be Lifted after they made a great solution to the problem of Crypto scamming ads, same towards google and twitter

They will always need to protect the user because its part of their job, so give them some time

I agree with you, they just need time to get to know Crypto and the blockchain system.

When they know the advantages of the blockchain system, they will most likely be interested, too, even though they initially opposed it.

I think they are not against crypto in general, they are just banning crypto ads involving icos as they are considered high risk investment in their eyes, so they want to safeguard their users. I have also heard that the owner of facebook is impressed with blockchain technology and he may comeup with a decentralized facebook with their own cryptocurrency.
Do you really think they are so good and unselfish? What a ban to protect their use? Google and Facebook know that in the midst of so many ico there are potential competitors who can stop their domain that's why they make barriers against blockchain and ico
