Hi,

I am new on this forum. I had a query on Bitmain S2 antminer. If i order the same on ebay, and get it shipped to india, will it be considered as new or used? Especially since the box has been opened. If it is considered used, does that bring down the amount of customs duty or will the customs duty remain the same as a new product?, and just for my reference, what would be the customs duty for a product costing $2550.

Any help is much appreciated!

Best Regards,
Mike

It should be considered used, not sure though... also the duty will be on invoice price irrespective of new or old

Duty in India is 28.5% ....

Thanks !! Smiley

Hello guys,

I was thinking if any of you guys have ordered an Antminer 180 ghs (http://sushi-review.com/products/bitmain-antminer-s1-180gh-s-miner.html) and might be able to answer some questions.

1. what will be the customs/duty (if any) to Delhi, India??
2. They say (Free World-Wide Shipping via UPS International Savor (Express)), where do they ship from??
3. Which PSU will be the best to use while overclocking to 200 ghs??

any help is appreciated.
Hey antminer price is decreased but my question is how to pay costum duty ? will i pay duty to seller or after shipment i have to pay duty ??

order from bitmaintech. they ship via dhl. reaches in about 36 hours after shipping commences. duty on my last antminer s1 was 2240 rupees. duty is paid in cash to dhl on delivery.

Bad luck is that we don't have Bitmain distributers like that in USA or Canada who are selling Antminers at competitive prices . All the Bitcoin miners being sold here in India are at quite expensive rates , ROI is impossible at such rates. Its better to buy BTC directly or import from outside with paying some import duty .

But import duty was only 3200 rupees when i shipped mine middle of march. Is it because people dont have btc that they are not importing from bitmain. It was such a hassle free thing buying it from them.

Hi,

When you say you can get it below 30k, plz confirm the rate and quantity so that we can buy from you. Hope it includes duty and everything.

Regards,
Team Highkart

i am not a supplier. when i say below 30k, i mean @0.893 BTC which at todays price of 25304 INR/BTC gets you 22596 rupees plus approx 3200 rupees duty makes it 25796 rupees. even if you spend 10% more on acquiring BTC you wont spend more than 28326 on acquiring an antminer S1. and shipping is done free by bitmain. the only other cost of running an antminer is a power supply which depends on an individual's preference and is anyway not the cost of an antminer. at 799 usd at which you are selling an antminer (roughly 48000 rupees) it is nowhere close to the actual cost.

@ Highkart where are you sourcing your antminers from that they are so expensive?

Hi Shahdil,

That's what we are trying to explain that it is easier to calculate when u do it by using a windows calculator, however when u import and sell in india there are lot of hidden cost including customs, VAT, sales tax etc to deliever at ur doorstep. Also its not a piece of cake when u get custom clearance for a larger stock than one piece. We are not running a p2p service and pay all the necessary taxes and fees along with managing support for our customers which is again not free to us.

So our request is to plz consider all these elements before misguiding other people about the same.

Wow, at 48000 rupees thats almost 2 times the price i can get it shipped from bitmain. Ebay its available for some 78000 rupees. Why are you guys selling it so expensive. With customs and shipping from bitmain, antminer can be had for less than 30k rupees.

The Prices looks on the higher side from other sites like ebay and all because it is all inclusive product, involving Miner, Customs and duty, PSU's and Shipping to your doorstep.

If you try getting it from ebay or something you will be able to understand it. Also the prices of bitcoin have gone down drastically in last two weeks but it dint brought down our cost Smiley
