i found the leakage, it seemed to be on several places, the Screw to fans perofred the fins and into the tubes, the casting is to close to the fins and the screws provided are to large.

Bad production unit i guess nothing was checked, just done really fast and cheap, i am now down 1thz on my units , and trying to get it work as soon as possible ,:-\

good news that i could lower downmy sp20 noise so atleast i got that going on for me Tongue

You would need to try it off and possibly run without fan's for a few seconds and try to spot the leak. You can use papertowls or something to try to find the leak.

Once finding it you have lots of options as far as plugging it where it wont leak again. But needless to say this is why I am not a an of Syscooling just seemed for the money spent they provided very cheap products.

You will also notice Syscooling not even checking the board now. I think their business is pretty much dead, which is a good thing really or miners.

i do recommend a better water cooler system, mine just startet to leak from the radiator, i dont know were from, but it dont seem to have a fix

And it's worth mentioning if you get the watercooling pump from the kit the earlier the kit the worse the pump is chances are. They started off with (i think all of batch 1) being dry tested. Just things a cooling company should know not to but syscooling did it.

I have had 2 since batch 1. One has worked perfect other recently gave me some trouble. Tried a lot and ended up opening one blade. It looked horrible on paste, just not great at all.

I thought it would be here today but looks like tomorrow on gear to clean it up. I ended up getting some decent cleaner, decent thermal paste and good amount keep in mind it's 4 blades, and I already had extra coolant.

So tomorrow I might do it if feeling real crazy. Or might wait till weekend. Not sure yet.

Have looked from the sides, i tought it saw a little bit dry, pump as said i am looking to replace it, feels like it pumps to slow. even looking for better radiator.

I will fill whit car cooling liquid aswell, running water atm, at end of month might fix all this, had to get em working to get some $$ to regain the investment first Tongue

Either here on forums or ebay most likely. They are discontinued as far as production, so you will not find new miners of these.

You have to look into used miners. Make sure you get one with out issues at this point they have been ran for a while. I'm hoping this weekend I finnaly get time to put new thermal paste on one of my C1's.

I suggest biting the bullet and buying some coolant. And they are not that loud. Avalon 4.1 is still more quiet. For summer I added 3 fan's to my radiators, making 6 fans on it. But still not bad on noise level.

In the winter when ambiant temp is 20C the miner is barely audible. The miner fan will adjust speed from 1200rpm to higher. Like notlist3d said if your radiator is doing a good job, the sound level will be low. Underclock it to maintain silence.

these units are water cooled. what level of noise would they make, could i store one in my bedroom ?
