Hello,

I have a Antminer from November(?) 2017 and it has given me some headaches.

The day the warranty was over one of the boards died. First it started showing the "x" on that board until it just disappeared entirely. I changed the cables connecting the hasboards to the controller board to make sure which was wrong and I've been mining only with 2 boards.

Now a new issue came up. All chains disappeared:

I've dissasembled it many times, changed the cables and the sockets on the controller board. Tried a couple different pools, nice hash, prohashing.... In every one it connects, the pools says the miner there but with no hash power.

Did the remaining dashboards just died?
Anyone has a solution for this?
Do you think one of those alternative OS can put this working?

Thank you
Carry it to repair, it looks like your shaman is not going to help. What you can't hear anything to flash this unit to other algorithms and thus give a second life

These machines were built with planned obsolescence as top priority. Don’t think for one second that those manipulating this were gonna let little guy roi.  That’s money out of their pockets.  You may think you have return but your time is worth something.  Having to always mess with down miner or worse yet have to pay to fix a machine destined for the scrap heap.  It’s quite alarming that in 4 years time what took me an entire rent house and part of another place to run 80 ths and 1 gigs scrypt can now be ran with a few machines under my bed.  This was always the plan.  If we keep supporting it then nothing will change.  If you want to try and stay with the game take what you would have spent and just buy a coin.  Good luck in your decision.
