So let me ask you guys my hot list of questions,
are there any comparable asics on the market that run scrypt UOW.
What is the best PSU to use,
How do you guys optimize which coin your workers mind does anyone automate coin switches,
What sort of electrical do you need some people have said 3 wire, but I don't think thats accurate and I am having trouble understanding the electrical requirements,
How far can you overclock the antminer L3+ what additional cooling set up did you use to achieve that.
how stable are these machines, could I put them in a basement if I kept it dusted and clean.
What are the common problems, starting antminer L3+ farms run into how did you solve it.
thanks in advance.
This is by far the most efficient litecoin miner on the market as of today, at least amongst the ones that a person and small-medium size enterprise can afford to buy.
My suggestion is go with the recommended power supply Bitmain sells.
If by 3 wire you mean earthing it, then it is a definite yes. I would also recommend a voltage regulator as online UPS would shoot up the cost and ROI.
Unless you are running your antminers in a proper server room, with air handling units, rack cooling and proper hot aisle stay away from overclocking. Unless if you can somehow make sure you inject cold air in them 24/7 but then you might run into wet air being injected into your antminer which is worse. My advice don't overclock, maximize airflow as much as possible and don't bother with air conditioning. It's a loosing battle.
They are stable. You could run them in your basement but airflow is your enemy there. You need to find a way to move air, and move it fast. And make sure your inlet with your outlet ventilation compensate each other. you don't want positive or negative pressure in the room.
