I see the settings for Frequency under the Antminer's Settings. It is set to the default, 384M. To make sure that I am understanding this correctly, going up in number, like 400M, 425M, etc. would overclock. So, going down, like 362M, 344M, etc. would underclock the miner.
Am I correct with this?
YES

And, if underclocking, is that okay with the Antminer warranty? I know that overclocking voids the warranty.
MAYBE

If underclocking is okay, are there optimal frequencies to use?
You have to find out the optimal frequency by yourself , where your miner going to be stable , the miner stability can be depend on ambient temp , humidity , frequency , power quality , power stability ..... There is no rule what is ok for my miners is going to be ok for yours !

And, does anyone know if there is a chart, or guidance, that would give me an idea what the relation would be between L3+ Frequency and Hashrate?
Lower frequency - lower hashrate - lower power usage - less generated heat
There is no rule what is ok for my miners is going to be ok for yours !

I have been running my new Antminer L3+ for close to two days. All is going well.

I am working on getting a permanent place to put this and the S9 miner that has been ordered. Currently, when I am home, I have a window open enough to let cool air into the room where I am running the L3+. But, when I have to close the window, and put the alarm on, it of course gets warm in there.

So, at those times when I need to close the window, and until I have the permanent place for the miner, I would like to underclock the L3+.

And, if underclocking, is that okay with the Antminer warranty? I know that overclocking voids the warranty.

My L3+ is performing to spec. The default 384M is producing 504 MH/s, fans running at 2,100 RPM with the windows open, 2,400 RPM with the windows closed, and internal temp of around 49 degrees windows open, and 55 degrees windows closed.

My target is to underclock so that I get the fan speed and internal temp with the windows closed to be no more than when the windows are open.

Thank you very much, in advance, for your help with this!
