How long will he continue to produce them??

Looks like they have good sales on S1.
I believe they wont stop unless they replace with something newer? (maybe 28nm sometime?)

S2 is a different product.
i dont like the s2 too big as one unit

I wish I could get my hands on that "too big as one unit" :-)
More efficient than my little S1. The S1 has been a solid miner.
It looks like they are available again @ .918

Just an FYI...I ordered my first S1 from BitMain Friday evening ET. I did send a note with [email protected] with my order ID and BTC transaction info after their site showed the order as "expired".  On Saturday the payment showed, but the order was "unshipped". As of now their site still shows it as unshipped, but MyUPS shows the unit Shipped this morning with an ETA of Wednesday. No Email or other response from BitMain, but they are doing exactly what I would do...getting the orders cleared and out the door ASAP rather than responding to emails. Hope this helps.

EDIT:  BitMain site now shows unit as shipped as of 13:00 ET Monday 3/24/14.  I did receive and automated email letting me know it shipped.

Why is the LKetc Dragon being discussed in this thread?  Please don't associate an unknown company with no proven track record of delivering to paying customers in a BitMain thread.

The Dragon is an A1 clone that's has only been delivered to "reviewers".

Yes, you are right.
But since it is a bitmain thread, why you mention this?   :

The Dragon is an A1 clone that's has only been delivered to "reviewers".

I just wanted it know that these are two unrelated companies so there was no confusion for anyone reading this thread.

.

Yes but the thread started regarding the unavailability of bitmain products.
We mentioned lketc.com as an alternative Chinese new direct competitor to Bitmain.

We did not say lketc.com is the same as bitmain. Nor we ever said it is a reliable place to buy miners safely.

We just share information relevant to the op's initial request.

I have bought two from them, from two different batch - and everything was/is OK.

You have to see the dragon , then.

 Shocked

How bad is it ?? and for what price ??

Lol is not bad for a 1THs machine, but it is also huge.

The price is good , 5.42BTC the time we talk at their website lketc.com.

I have ordered 3 but I have no other experience from them.

That sounds good!! how long is delivery time??? And watt/GH

The coming batch is leaving on 28 March.

The watt/Ghs is  less than 1 as they claim. Or 800W for 1000Gh/s. Its 28nm.

Thats better than a bunch of ant s1 if you look at both power and gh/s

Yes since they are 28nm.

Lets see them then.

I ordered FIVE S1 UNITS. THEY STILL HAVE NOT CONFIRMED IT AS PAID.
I''ve contacted them via Email... No response.

I ordered 2 on March 16th and paid but never received a confirmation email.  I could see on their website that payment had gone through so I contacted them and they said everything was fine.  I received the 2 units today. Unfortunately the PSU from Amazon hasn't shipped yet Sad

I purchased two from them, paid in BTC, and now the order states it's expired. I've emailed twice and haven't heard nothing back.

I also purchased 2, around the same time, and was freaking out cause blockchain.info was showing unconfirmed.. I emailed them about it.. showed them the transaction.. they've manually changed my order from Expired to Paid and Valid, and its now just waiting to ship.. Hopefully it'll ship out soon..

the wallets were down for 2 days.  they must have a real mess on their hands.  100x just you.

when you paid the block chain was working .  but blockchaininfo wallets were dead.    so every order placed went through the block chain.   but with the wallet dead for them and many others they auto cancelled your order.  be patient I figure  2 or 3 days for the fix.

You can always order from Ninjatech.org, 112bit.com, or Minersource.net if you don't want to wait for Bitmain's site.

I think it has more to do with
Quote
we are double checking all payment for those orders which were placed from 7:50 pm BeiJing time Mar 17th (UTC +8) to the present, there are so many emails and pms to us, will not reply them one by one, to spend more time on payment confirmation and shipment. please take it easy, we will confirm orders and arrange shipment soon, once we receive full payment, any new progress will be updated in the account of website store.

this and the cause of it all was the St Patrick's Day (and beyond) crash of blockchain.info/wallets   BTW it has also caused a drop in bitcoin price to just under 590 usd a coin.
